4. Setup Guide
4.1 Charging the Camera
Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the camera to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port using the provided USB cable. The indicator light will show charging status.
4.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card
If you plan to record video, insert a Micro SD card (up to 256GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) into the card slot. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
4.3 App Installation and WiFi Connection
- Download the dedicated app (e.g., 'IWFCam' or as specified in the Japanese manual) from your smartphone's app store (iPhone/Android compatible).
- Power on the camera.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code or connecting to the camera's temporary WiFi hotspot.
- Connect the camera to your home or office 2.4GHz WiFi network. Note: 5GHz WiFi networks are not supported.

5.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button to turn the camera on or off. The indicator light will confirm the status.
5.2 Recording Modes
- WiFi Mode (Remote Monitoring): Once connected to WiFi, use the smartphone app to view live footage, record videos, take photos, and adjust settings remotely.
- DV Recording Mode (Standalone): Insert a Micro SD card. The camera will automatically start recording when powered on. This mode does not require a WiFi connection or smartphone.

5.3 Motion Detection
