3. Setup Guide
3.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge your Diofox M8 MP3 Player. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

3.2 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device until the screen lights up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until a power-off menu appears on the screen. Select "Power Off" to shut down the device.
- Sleep Mode: Briefly press the power button to put the device into sleep mode or wake it up.
3.3 Inserting an SD Card
The device comes with a 64GB SD card pre-installed or included separately. To insert or replace the SD card, locate the SD card slot on the side of the player. Gently push the card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the device is powered off before inserting or removing the SD card to prevent data loss.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Touch Screen Navigation
The Diofox M8 features a 4-inch full touch LCD screen. Navigate the interface by swiping left/right or up/down to browse applications and menus. Tap icons to open applications or select options. The home button at the bottom center returns you to the main screen.
4.2 Wi-Fi Connectivity
To connect to a Wi-Fi network:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Network & Internet, then Wi-Fi.
- Turn on Wi-Fi and select your desired network from the list.
- Enter the password if prompted and tap Connect.
Wi-Fi enables access to pre-installed streaming apps like Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, and Amazon Music, as well as the Google Play Store for additional applications.

4.3 Bluetooth Connection
The M8 supports Bluetooth 4.2 for connecting to headphones, speakers, or car audio systems. Note: It cannot connect to mobile phones or computers via Bluetooth.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Connected devices, then Bluetooth.
- Turn on Bluetooth. The device will scan for available devices.
- Select your desired Bluetooth device from the list to pair.

4.4 Music Playback
Use the pre-installed music application or download your preferred streaming apps. The local music player supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, APE, OGG, M4A, WMA, MP2 formats. It features a graphic equalizer, playlist management, and various playback modes.

4.5 Video Playback
The 4-inch IPS screen supports video playback with formats including RM, RMVB, FLV, MP4, DAT, MKV, MPG, MOV, TS. You can enjoy videos from your local storage or streaming apps.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the device, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the screen and finish.
