4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The backlight may indicate charging status.

4.2 Connecting the Keyboard

The MK84 keyboard supports three connection modes:

• Bluetooth Mode:
  1. Press and hold FN + 1, FN + 2, or FN + 3 to select one of the three Bluetooth channels. The corresponding key will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for "EWEADN MK84".
  3. Select the keyboard to pair. The key will stop flashing once successfully connected.
• 2.4GHz Wireless Mode:
  1. Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Press and hold FN + 4 to switch to 2.4GHz mode. The key will flash, indicating connection mode.
  3. The keyboard should automatically connect to the dongle. The key will stop flashing once connected.
• USB-C Wired Mode:
  1. Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB-C cable.
  2. Press and hold FN + 5 to switch to wired mode. The keyboard will function immediately.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 System Compatibility Switching

The keyboard supports both Windows and Mac operating systems. To switch between modes:

• For Windows: Press and hold FN + W.
• For Mac: Press and hold FN + A.

5.2 Backlight Control

The keyboard features a white backlight with various settings:

• Adjust Brightness: Press FN + Brightness Up Key or FN + Brightness Down Key. There are 4 adjustable levels.
• Change Lighting Effects: Press FN + INS to cycle through 20 preset dynamic lighting effects.
• Reset Lighting: Press FN + ESC to reset the keyboard lighting to default.

5.3 Ergonomic Adjustment

The keyboard is equipped with two-level adjustable feet on the underside. Flip them out to achieve your preferred typing angle and reduce hand fatigue during extended use.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, you may use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, ensuring no liquid enters the keyboard. The PBT keycaps are oil-resistant and less prone to fingerprint marks.
• Keycap and Switch Replacement: The keyboard features hot-swappable switches. If you wish to replace switches or keycaps, gently pull them off using a keycap puller and switch puller (not included). Ensure proper alignment when reinserting.
• Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
