1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your VEVOR Softbox Lighting Kit YX-RGX01. This professional lighting kit is designed to enhance photography, video recording, and live streaming with its soft, even illumination and adjustable features. 2. Safety Instructions

• Ensure the power supply matches the specifications (AC110-240V 60Hz for US models).
• Do not operate the device with wet hands or in damp environments to prevent electric shock.
• Keep the softbox and bulb away from water and excessive moisture.
• Always unplug the power cord before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

• Position the tripod on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
• Avoid direct eye exposure to the LED light for prolonged periods.

4. Setup Instructions

1. Assemble the Tripod Stand: Extend the legs of the light stand to form a stable base. Adjust the height to your desired level using the locking mechanisms.

2. Attach the Softbox: Mount the softbox onto the top of the light stand. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Open the Softbox: Gently push the center ring of the softbox downwards until the umbrella-like rods lock into place, expanding the softbox.

4. Install the LED Bulb: Screw the 45W LED bulb into the socket located at the center of the softbox.

5. Attach the White Diffuser: Secure the white diffuser to the front of the softbox using the Velcro fasteners. This will soften the light output.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Use the power switch on the cord or the remote control to turn the light on or off.
2. Adjust Brightness: Use the brightness buttons on the remote control (marked with sun icons or percentage buttons like 20%, 50%, 100%) to increase or decrease the light intensity.
3. Change Color Temperature: The remote control allows adjustment of the color temperature between 3000K (warm light) and 6500K (cold light). Use the 'K-' and 'K+' buttons or dedicated 'WARM', 'COLD', 'WHITE' buttons to select your desired temperature.

4. Adjust Softbox Angle: The softbox can be rotated 180° to direct light precisely where needed. Loosen the adjustment knob on the light stand, position the softbox, and then tighten the knob.
5. Scenario Applications: The versatile design makes it suitable for various uses such as portrait photography, still photography, live streaming, and vlog creation.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the softbox and tripod. For the diffuser, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Ensure all components are dry before storage.
• Storage: When not in use, disassemble the kit and store it in the provided carrying bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Bulb Care: The LED bulb has a long service life (up to 8000 hours). Avoid frequent unscrewing and handling to prolong its lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting

• Light Not Turning On:
  • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and the light stand.
  • Ensure the power switch on the cord is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify that the LED bulb is correctly screwed into the socket.
  • Check the remote control batteries and ensure it's pointed towards the receiver.
• Remote Control Not Responding:
  • Replace the batteries in the remote control.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light's receiver.
  • Confirm the remote is within the effective operating range (within 8 meters).
• Unstable Tripod:
  • Ensure the tripod legs are fully extended and the locking mechanisms are tightened.
  • Place the tripod on a flat, stable surface.
