4.3 Binding the Car and Remote Controller

If the car and remote controller do not connect automatically, you may need to perform a binding procedure:

  1. Ensure both the car and remote controller are powered off.
  2. Turn on the remote controller.
  3. Locate the bind button/port on the car (refer to the car's chassis for exact location, often a small hole).
  4. Using the included bind pin, press and hold the bind button on the car while simultaneously powering on the car.
  5. Release the bind button once the car's indicator light shows a solid connection (e.g., stops flashing).
  6. The car and remote controller are now bound and ready for operation.

4.4 Attaching Body Shells

The C75 comes with removable body shells. To attach or change a body shell:

  • Align the body shell with the chassis, ensuring the mounting posts or clips match the corresponding holes on the shell.
  • Gently press the body shell down until it clicks into place or is securely fastened.
  • To remove, carefully unclip or lift the shell from the chassis.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls

Once the car and remote are powered on and bound:

  • Throttle: Use the trigger on the remote controller to control forward and reverse speed. Pull the trigger for forward motion, push for reverse/brake.
  • Steering: Use the steering wheel on the remote controller to turn the car left or right.

5.2 Trim Functions

The P21 remote controller features trim adjustments for fine-tuning the car's performance:

  • Steering Trim: Adjusts the neutral position of the steering. If the car pulls to one side when the steering wheel is centered, use the steering trim dial to correct it.
  • Steering Reverse (REV): Reverses the steering direction. If the car turns left when you steer right, activate the steering reverse function.
  • Throttle Trim: Adjusts the neutral position of the throttle. If the car creeps forward or backward when the trigger is neutral, use the throttle trim to correct it.

5.3 Lighting Controls

  • Headlights: The high simulation LED headlights activate automatically when the car is powered on. They feature a spotlight effect and a double flash function.
  • Chassis Lights: The LED chassis lamp can be controlled using Channel 3 on your remote controller (refer to your P21 remote manual for specific button assignment for Channel 3).
  • Turn Signals & Brake Lights: Simulated turn signals activate with steering input. Brake lights illuminate when the throttle trigger is pushed for braking/reverse.

5.4 Driving Surface Recommendations

Due to its small scale, the C75 Mini Sports Car performs best on very flat, smooth surfaces free of debris. Even small obstacles like pet hair or dust can affect performance. Consider vacuuming your driving area before use for optimal enjoyment.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Regularly inspect the car for debris, especially around the wheels and axles.
  • Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and small particles.
  • For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters electronic components.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Always use the provided USB-C cable for charging.
  • Do not overcharge or completely discharge the LiPo battery.
  • Store the car with the battery partially charged (around 50%) if not used for extended periods.
  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.

6.3 Body Shell Replacement

The body shells are designed to be easily removable for customization or replacement. Carefully unclip the existing shell and align the new shell with the chassis mounting points before gently pressing it into place.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Car Not Responding

  • Check Batteries: Ensure the remote controller has fresh AAA batteries and the car's internal LiPo battery is fully charged.
  • Binding: Re-perform the binding procedure (Section 4.3) to ensure a secure connection between the car and remote.
  • Power Switches: Verify that both the car and remote controller are powered on.

7.2 Poor Driving Performance

  • Driving Surface: Ensure you are operating the car on a very flat and clean surface. Small debris can significantly impede performance.
  • Debris in Wheels/Axles: Inspect the wheels and axles for any trapped hair or debris that might be causing friction. Remove carefully.
  • Trim Settings: Adjust the steering and throttle trim on the remote controller to ensure the car drives straight and responds correctly.

7.3 Lights Not Functioning Correctly

  • Chassis Lights: If chassis lights are not working, ensure Channel 3 on your remote controller is activated or set correctly.
  • General Lighting: Check the car's battery level. Low battery can affect light functionality.
