Setup and Assembly

2. Assemble Headboard: Attach the headboard supports to the upholstered headboard. The headboard height is adjustable to 40.1", 42.1", or 44.1" to accommodate various mattress thicknesses (up to 12 inches deep).
3. Connect Side Rails and Footboard: Attach the upholstered side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure connections are secure but do not fully tighten until all major components are aligned.
4. Install Mid-Metal Supports: Position the three sturdy central support pillars and mid-metal supports within the frame. These provide crucial stability and eliminate the need for a box spring.
5. Place Wooden Slats: Lay the 12 wooden slats across the frame. The slats feature a snap-in design and Velcro for secure placement. Foam padding between the slats and metal frame helps ensure a noise-free experience.
6. Assemble Storage Drawers: Assemble the four storage drawers. Each drawer measures 37.5" L x 16.9" W x 9.4" H (outside) and 27.4" L x 16.9" W x 4.7" H (inside storage basket). Attach the easy-glide wheels.
7. Insert Drawers: Slide the assembled drawers into the designated spaces under the bed frame.
8. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, re-tighten all screws and bolts firmly.

Operation

Using the Adjustable Headboard

The upholstered headboard can be adjusted to three different heights: 40.1 inches, 42.1 inches, or 44.1 inches from the floor. This allows you to customize the headboard height to best suit your mattress thickness and personal preference. Adjustment is typically done during initial assembly by selecting the appropriate bolt holes.
