3.1 Powering On and Video Feed

  1. Ensure the Aqua-Vu unit is connected to power and your MFD.
  2. Turn on your MFD and select the correct video input source.
  3. The Aqua-Vu unit will automatically power on when connected to a 12V source. The "POWER" indicator light on the unit will illuminate.
  4. You should now see a live, real-time underwater video feed on your MFD.

3.2 Using the Underwater Camera

  • Deployment: Slowly lower the camera into the water using the integrated reel system. Adjust the depth as needed to observe desired areas.
  • IR Lighting: The camera is equipped with an IR underwater fishing light. This feature automatically activates in low-light conditions to boost visibility without startling fish.
  • Sonar Integration: The Micro Revolution HD serves as an ultimate sonar confirmation tool. You can run a split-screen view on your MFD, displaying both your sonar readings and the live camera feed. This allows for quick verification of fish species, behavior, and bottom structure.

  • Storage: Store the unit in its custom storage case in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure the cable is neatly wound on the integrated reel.
  • Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect the camera cable for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage.
