2. Motherboard Installation
The D302A case supports m-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, specifically designed for models with backward-facing connectors to facilitate clean cable management. Install the necessary standoffs for your motherboard form factor using the provided tool. Carefully align your motherboard with the standoffs and the I/O shield opening at the rear of the case, then secure it with screws.

3. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
Install your standard ATX power supply unit into the dedicated bottom mount area of the case. Secure it with screws from the rear of the case. Ensure all necessary power cables are routed through the appropriate cutouts for connection to your components.
4. Storage Drive Installation
The D302A provides multiple mounting points for 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs. Refer to the case's internal layout for specific drive bay locations, typically behind the motherboard tray or within the PSU shroud. Secure your storage drives using the provided screws or tool-less mechanisms.
5. Fan and Radiator Installation
The D302A offers extensive cooling support. Plan your fan and radiator placement based on your system's cooling requirements:
- Top: Supports up to 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans, or liquid coolers up to 360mm.
- Front: Supports up to 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans, or liquid coolers up to 360mm.
- Rear: Supports 1x 120mm fan or a 120mm radiator.
- Side: Supports up to 2x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans.
- PSU Shroud: Supports up to 2x 120mm fans.
Install fans and radiators according to your chosen configuration, ensuring proper airflow direction (intake or exhaust) for optimal thermal performance.

6. Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
The D302A case accommodates graphics cards up to 410mm in length (when no front radiator is installed). Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers from the rear of the case. Carefully insert your graphics card into the appropriate PCIe slot on your motherboard, ensuring it is fully seated. Secure the GPU with the retention clip and screws.

7. Connecting Front I/O Cables
Connect the front panel cables (USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HD Audio, Power Switch, Reset Switch, Power LED, HDD LED) to their corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for the exact pin layouts and connection instructions.
8. Cable Management
Utilize the cable routing channels and tie-down points located behind the motherboard tray to manage and organize your cables. Effective cable management improves airflow, enhances aesthetics, and simplifies future maintenance.
9. Final Assembly
Once all components are installed and cables are managed, reattach the side panels. Ensure all thumbscrews or latch mechanisms are secured to prevent panels from accidentally opening.
Operation
After completing the hardware installation, connect your monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cable to the system. Press the power button on the front panel to start your computer. The mesh front panel and extensive fan support ensure optimal airflow and cooling performance during operation.

If your build includes ARGB fans, the integrated 5-port PWM ARGB control hub (if present) allows for synchronization and control of lighting effects and fan speeds, typically via motherboard software or a dedicated button on the case (if available).
Maintenance
Dust Filters
The AeroCool D302A is equipped with magnetic dust filters, typically located on the top, front, and/or bottom of the case. These filters are designed for easy removal and cleaning. Regularly clean these filters (e.g., monthly) to maintain optimal airflow, prevent dust buildup inside the case, and ensure efficient cooling performance.

General Cleaning
Use a soft, dry, and lint-free cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the case. For internal cleaning, use compressed air to gently remove dust from components, fan blades, and heatsinks. Always ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before performing any internal cleaning.
Troubleshooting
System Not Powering On
- Power Connections: Double-check all power connections to the motherboard (24-pin ATX, 8-pin EPS), CPU, and GPU.
- PSU Switch: Ensure the power supply unit's main switch at the rear of the case is in the "ON" position.
- Front Panel Headers: Verify that the front panel power switch cable is correctly connected to the corresponding pins on your motherboard.
- Wall Outlet: Test the power cable and wall outlet with another device to confirm they are functional.
Overheating Issues
- Fan Orientation: Confirm all installed fans are spinning and oriented correctly for optimal airflow (e.g., front/side as intake, top/rear as exhaust).
- Dust Buildup: Clean all dust filters and use compressed air to clear dust from CPU coolers, GPU heatsinks, and case fans.
- Cooler Seating: Ensure the CPU cooler and GPU cooler are properly seated and making good contact with their respective components.
- Thermal Paste: If CPU temperatures are high, consider reapplying thermal paste to the CPU.
No Display Output
- GPU Power: Check that your graphics card has all necessary PCIe power cables connected from the PSU.
- Monitor Connection: Ensure your monitor cable is securely connected to the graphics card's output ports, not the motherboard's integrated graphics ports (if a dedicated GPU is installed).
- Reseat Components: Try reseating the graphics card and RAM modules in their slots.
- BIOS/UEFI: If your motherboard has diagnostic LEDs or a POST code display, consult your motherboard manual for error codes.
