3. Setup

The DeerRun 3-in-1 Folding Treadmill comes pre-assembled and requires no installation. Simply unbox and prepare for use.

Initial Steps:

  1. Carefully remove the treadmill from its packaging.
  2. Place the treadmill on a flat, stable surface, ensuring adequate clearance around the unit.
  3. Unfold the handrail if you intend to use it for running mode. Ensure it is securely locked in place.
  4. Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Insert the battery into the remote control.
  6. Attach the safety key to the designated slot on the console and clip the other end to your clothing. The treadmill will not operate without the safety key in place.

App Activation (PitPat):

This treadmill requires the PitPat app for activation and to unlock its full potential. Download the PitPat app from your device's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store).

  • Follow the in-app instructions to connect your treadmill via Bluetooth.
  • The app provides training programs, events, social features, and entertainment.
  • If you encounter issues with app connectivity or activation, please refer to the troubleshooting section or contact customer support.

4. Operating Instructions

The DeerRun treadmill offers two primary modes of operation: walking pad mode and running mode.

Modes of Operation:

  • Walking Pad Mode: When the handrail is folded down, the treadmill operates as an under-desk walking pad with a speed range of 0.6-3.8 mph.
  • Running Mode: When the handrail is raised and secured, the treadmill can be used for running with a speed range of 0.6-7.5 mph.

Using the Remote Control:

The remote control allows you to start/stop the treadmill and adjust the speed.

  • Press the Start/Stop button to begin or end your workout.
  • Use the Speed Up and Speed Down buttons to adjust your pace.

LED Display:

The integrated LED display tracks your exercise metrics in real-time, including:

  • Time
  • Speed
  • Distance
  • Calories Burned

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your treadmill.

Cleaning:

  • Wipe down the treadmill with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Lubrication:

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. Use the provided lubricating oil.

  • Turn off and unplug the treadmill before lubricating.
  • Lift the edge of the running belt and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the center of the deck.
  • Run the treadmill at a low speed for a few minutes to distribute the lubricant evenly.
  • Frequency of lubrication depends on usage; typically every 3-6 months for moderate use.

Belt Tension and Alignment:

Check the running belt tension and alignment periodically. If the belt slips or drifts to one side, adjust it using the provided L-shaped wrench according to the detailed instructions in the included user manual.

6. Troubleshooting
