Setup
1. Charging the Nearphones
Before first use, fully charge the Nearphones and their charging case. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and a USB power source. The indicator lights on the case will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of playback, with an additional 16 hours from the charging case.
2. Pairing with Your Device
- Open the charging case. The Nearphones will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'JVC HA-NP1T' from the list to connect. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.
The Nearphones support Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable connection and multipoint device connection, allowing seamless switching between two connected devices.
3. Wearing the Nearphones
The JVC Nearphones feature an ear-cuff design that rests gently on the outer ear, providing comfort and situational awareness. To wear them:
- Pick up an earbud and gently widen the ear-cuff opening.
- Position the earbud on your ear, hooking the cuff over the ear canal.
- Adjust for a secure and comfortable fit. The flexible design adapts to your ear shape.

Sound and Awareness

Maintenance
Cleaning
