Setup and Installation

3. Identify the wires and disconnect the old ones: Note the wiring configuration of your old outlet. Typically, you will find Line (hot), Load (to device), Neutral, and Ground wires. Disconnect them safely.

4. Connect the wires to the new outlet: Connect the wires to the correct terminals of your new Tapo P210M outlet as shown on the product label or refer to your old outlet's wiring. Ensure secure connections.
5. Line up and secure the outlet: Line up the new outlet with the mounting holes in the wall box and secure it with the longer screws provided.
6. Secure the mounting bracket and wallplate: Ensure the UP arrow on the back of the wallplate points up, and then snap on the wallplate.

App Setup:

1. Download the Tapo app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Create a TP-Link ID or log in with an existing one.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your Tapo P210M device. Ensure your phone is close to the device during pairing and that the device has internet access for initial configuration.

Operating the Tapo P210M

App Control:

Use the Tapo app to control your smart outlet from anywhere. You can:
