Introduction
Thank you for choosing the wikiwiki 10ft Solar LED Offset Hanging Market Cantilever Patio Umbrella. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new patio umbrella. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure proper function and longevity of the product.
Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. Adhere to the following guidelines:
- Weighted Base Required: This umbrella CANNOT stand alone. It must be secured with a weighted base (sold separately, e.g., B0DLMBJ4C4 or B0DPG1JNFT) or other heavy weights (sandbags, bricks) to prevent tipping.
- Wind Conditions: Always close the umbrella canopy during windy conditions or when not in use to prevent damage or injury.
- Solar Power Only: The LED lights are powered exclusively by solar energy. Do not attempt to plug them into an electrical outlet.
- Clearance: Ensure adequate clearance around the umbrella when opening, closing, or tilting to avoid obstructions or collisions.
- Assembly: Assemble the umbrella on a flat, stable surface. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

Figure 1: Umbrella dimensions and critical note regarding the weighted base (sold separately). The umbrella measures 10.3 feet across the canopy, with a height of 8.5 feet and a base height of 7 feet.

Setup Instructions
Follow these steps for proper assembly:
- Assemble the Cross Base: Place the cross base on a flat, level surface where you intend to position the umbrella. Ensure it is stable.
- Attach the Main Support Pole: Securely attach the main support pole to the assembled cross base using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened firmly.
- Mount the Umbrella Canopy Assembly: Carefully lift the umbrella canopy assembly and slide it onto the top of the main support pole. Align the pre-drilled holes and secure it with the designated bolts and nuts.
- Secure with Weighted Base: This is a critical step. Place a heavy-duty weighted base (minimum 300 lbs recommended, sold separately) over the cross base. Alternatively, use sandbags or concrete pavers to weigh down the cross base sufficiently. Failure to do so will result in instability and potential damage or injury.
- Connect Solar Panel: The solar panel is typically pre-attached. Ensure any protective film is removed and the panel is facing upwards to receive direct sunlight for charging.

Operating Instructions
Opening the Umbrella
To open the umbrella canopy, locate the crank handle on the main pole. Rotate the crank handle clockwise until the canopy is fully extended and taut. Do not over-crank.

Figure 4: The smooth crank system allows for easy opening and closing of the canopy.
Tilting the Canopy
This umbrella features an infinite-level tilt adjustment (0-30 degrees). To adjust the tilt, locate the tilt mechanism on the pole. Follow the specific instructions on the mechanism to unlock, adjust the angle, and then lock it securely in place. This allows you to adjust the shade for multiple angles throughout the day.
Using Solar LED Lights
The umbrella is equipped with 32 solar-powered LED lights integrated into the ribs. The solar panel on top of the canopy charges during the day. The lights will automatically turn on at dusk and can provide illumination for 5-7 hours when fully charged. Ensure the solar panel is clean and exposed to direct sunlight for optimal charging.

Figure 6: The umbrella provides shade during the day and brightens your patio with solar-powered LEDs at night.
Closing the Umbrella
To close the umbrella, rotate the crank handle counter-clockwise until the canopy is fully retracted. Secure the canopy with the attached Velcro straps to the main pole to reduce swaying and protect it from wind.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life of your umbrella:
- Canopy Cleaning: Clean the polyester canopy with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Frame Care: Periodically inspect the metal frame for any signs of wear, rust, or loose connections. Clean the frame with a damp cloth. The anti-oxidant coating helps resist corrosion.
- Solar Panel: Keep the solar panel clean and free of debris (leaves, dust) to ensure efficient charging. Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth.
- Storage: During off-season or prolonged periods of non-use, store the umbrella in a dry, protected area. Consider using a protective cover (sold separately) to shield it from elements.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| LED lights not turning on. | Insufficient solar charge; solar panel is dirty or obstructed; switch is off (if applicable). | Ensure solar panel is clean and exposed to direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours. Check for an on/off switch near the solar panel or main pole and ensure it is in the 'ON' position. |
| Umbrella is unstable or tips over. | No weighted base or insufficient weight; loose connections. | Immediately secure the umbrella with a heavy-duty weighted base (minimum 300 lbs) or additional weights. Check and tighten all assembly bolts. |
| Crank mechanism is stiff or not working smoothly. | Lack of lubrication; debris in mechanism; damaged parts. | Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts. Inspect for any visible debris and remove. If damaged, contact customer support for replacement parts. |
| Canopy not fully opening/closing. | Obstruction; fabric caught; mechanism issue. | Check for any obstructions. Ensure fabric is not caught in the ribs or mechanism. Inspect the crank system for damage. |
