2. Product Overview
The VEVOR Propane Fire Pit (Model: YSM24RPP(L)006) is a portable outdoor gas fire pit designed for heating, lighting, and gathering. It offers a smoke-free experience with adjustable flame height and comes with essential accessories for convenient use.

3. Setup
3.1 Unboxing and Component Identification
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present:
- Main Body (Fire Pit)
- Lid with Integrated Handle
- Large Lava Rocks (3.09 lbs / 1400 g)
- Small Lava Rocks (2.21 lbs / 1000 g)
- 10 ft Extended Gas Hose with Regulator
- 0.57-inch Gas Line Connector

3.2 Placing Lava Rocks
- Ensure the fire pit is on a stable, level surface.
- Carefully distribute the lava rocks evenly over the burner assembly inside the fire pit. Ensure the igniter mechanism is not completely covered.

3.3 Connecting Propane Tank
- Place your 20 lb propane tank on a stable surface, at least 60 inches away from the fire pit.
- Connect the regulator end of the 10 ft gas hose to the propane tank valve. Hand-tighten securely.
- Connect the other end of the gas hose to the inlet on the fire pit. Hand-tighten securely.
3.4 Leak Testing
Before first use and after every propane tank change, perform a leak test:
- Ensure the fire pit control knob is in the 'OFF' position.
- Slowly open the propane tank valve fully.
- Apply a soapy water solution (50/50 water and dish soap) to all gas connections.
- If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the propane tank valve immediately and re-tighten connections. Repeat the test. If leaks persist, do not use the appliance and contact customer service.
- If no bubbles appear, the connections are secure. Close the propane tank valve.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Lighting the Fire Pit
- Ensure the fire pit control knob is in the 'OFF' position.
- Slowly open the propane tank valve fully.
- Push and hold the control knob, then rotate it counter-clockwise to the 'LOW' position.
- Simultaneously, press the igniter button (if available) or use a long-stem lighter to ignite the gas.
- Once ignited, continue to hold the control knob for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob.
- If the flame extinguishes, repeat the lighting procedure after waiting 5 minutes for gas to dissipate.

4.2 Adjusting Flame Height
Rotate the control knob clockwise to decrease the flame height or counter-clockwise to increase it. Adjust to your desired heat output and ambiance.
4.3 Shutting Down
- Rotate the control knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.
- Close the valve on the propane tank completely.
- Allow the fire pit and lava rocks to cool completely before handling or covering.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Ensure the fire pit is completely cool before cleaning.
- Wipe exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Periodically inspect the burner and lava rocks for debris. Clean as needed.
5.2 Storage
- Ensure the fire pit is completely cool and the propane tank is disconnected.
- Place the lid securely on the fire pit. Use the integrated handle and clasps to secure the lid for transport.
- Store the fire pit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting
- No Flame: Check propane tank level, ensure gas valve is open, verify hose connections, and confirm igniter is sparking.
- Low Flame: Check propane tank level, ensure gas valve is fully open, and verify regulator is functioning correctly.
- Propane Smell: Immediately close the propane tank valve. Perform a leak test as described in Section 3.4. If the smell persists, evacuate the area and contact emergency services.
