7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your BESTHERM TANIN radiator, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps before contacting customer support:
- No Power: Check the main circuit breaker and ensure the radiator is properly plugged in.
- Radiator Not Heating: Verify that the desired temperature is set higher than the ambient room temperature. Check the operating mode (e.g., not in 'Off' or 'Frost Protection' mode if heating is desired). Ensure the child safety lock is not preventing adjustments.
- Overheat Protection Activated: If the radiator stops heating and displays an error, it may have overheated. Disconnect power, allow it to cool, and check for any obstructions around the vents. Reconnect power after 30 minutes.
- Open Window Detector Triggered: If the radiator stops heating unexpectedly, check if a window or door is open. Close it, and the radiator should resume normal operation.
- Inconsistent Heating: Ensure the room size is appropriate for the 1000W power output (up to 10m²).
If the problem persists after performing these checks, please contact Bestherm customer support.
