4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Monster Musicbox Go speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the DC-IN USB-C Charging Input port on the speaker and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 32 hours of playback at minimum volume.

4.2 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power On/Off button located on the control panel to turn the speaker on or off. A sound prompt will indicate the power status.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

The Monster Musicbox Go utilizes Bluetooth 5.3 for stable and fast connections.

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on.
  2. Press the Bluetooth / LED Indicator button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth LED indicator will flash, indicating it is ready to pair.
  3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "Monster Musicbox Go" in the list of available devices.
  4. Select "Monster Musicbox Go" to connect. Once connected, the Bluetooth LED indicator will remain solid, and a confirmation sound will play.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

You can pair two Monster Musicbox Go speakers together to achieve a powerful 240W stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both Monster Musicbox Go speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Bluetooth / LED Indicator button until you hear a TWS pairing prompt.
  3. The primary speaker will automatically search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth LED indicators on both speakers will remain solid.
  4. Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 5.1. Audio will play in stereo across both speakers.

5.3 Lighting Effects

The speaker features 7 dynamic LED lighting effects that synchronize with the music. Press the Lighting Effects On / Off button to cycle through the different modes or turn the lights off.

5.4 EQ Modes (Indoor/Outdoor)

The Monster Musicbox Go offers two EQ modes optimized for different environments:

  • Indoor Mode: Provides balanced audio for enclosed spaces.
  • Outdoor Mode: Enhances bass and treble for better sound projection in open environments.

To switch between EQ modes, refer to the specific button on the control panel (refer to Figure 3.2 for control panel layout).

5.5 Karaoke and Guitar Function

Connect a dynamic microphone or a guitar to the respective 6.35mm input jacks. Use the dedicated Microphone Volume Control, Reverb Adjustment, and Guitar Volume Control knobs on the control panel to adjust the audio levels and effects.

6. Charging and Power Bank Function

The Monster Musicbox Go is equipped with a robust battery system providing up to 32 hours of playback at minimum volume. It also functions as a power bank to charge your smart devices.

  • Charging the Speaker: Connect the USB-C charging cable to the DC-IN port. The charging indicator will show progress.
  • Using as Power Bank: Connect your smart device's charging cable to the USB-IN (Audio) Port on the speaker. The speaker will provide emergency charging for your device.

7. Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Monster Musicbox Go speaker, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
  • Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. Do not submerge the speaker in water. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposure to water.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To preserve battery life, fully charge the speaker at least once every three months if not in regular use.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Monster Musicbox Go speaker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
