5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your YOWHICK DP06 Projector for the first time.

5.1 Placement

Position the projector on a stable, flat surface. The optimal projection distance ranges from 4.6 to 23 feet, allowing for a screen size of 40 to 450 inches. For best results, ensure the projector is as level as possible with the projection surface.

5.2 Power Connection

1. Connect the provided power cord to the Power Input port on the projector.
2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable power outlet.
3. Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn it on.

5.3 Screen Setup

Your projector comes with a 100-inch projection screen. Unfold the screen and use appropriate methods (e.g., hooks, adhesive) to mount it on a flat wall or surface. Ensure the screen is taut and free of wrinkles for optimal image quality.

5.4 Focus Adjustment (Electric Focus)

The YOWHICK DP06 features electric focus for quick and precise image clarity.

1. Once the projector is powered on and displaying an image, use the "Focus +" or "Focus -" buttons on the remote control.
2. Adjust until the image appears sharp and clear on the screen.

5.5 Auto Keystone Correction

The projector features automatic keystone correction (up to 15° vertical) to adjust distorted images caused by angled projection. For optimal results, keep the projector as level as possible.

If further adjustment is needed, navigate to the "Keystone Correction" option in the main menu using the remote control and make manual adjustments.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press the power button on the projector or the remote control.
• Power Off: Press the power button again. The projector will shut down safely.

6.2 Main Menu Navigation

Upon powering on, the projector will display the main menu. Use the arrow keys on the remote control to navigate between options and the "OK" button to select.

6.3 Input Source Selection

Select your desired input source from the "Signal Source" section in the main menu:

6.4 Screen Mirroring (Wireless Connection)

The projector supports screen mirroring for Android and iOS devices via WiFi 6 and 2.4G connections.

• Select "Android Mirroring" or "iOS Wi-Fi Mirroring" / "iOS AP Mirroring" from the main menu.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your smartphone or tablet to the projector's WiFi network or directly mirror your screen.

6.5 Bluetooth Connection

Connect external Bluetooth speakers or headphones for an enhanced audio experience.

1. Select "Bluetooth" from the main menu.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your external audio device and put it in pairing mode.
3. Select your device from the list on the projector screen to pair.
