- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water.
- Ensure the condensation cup is properly attached to the back of the cooker.
First Use (Water Test)
It is recommended to perform a water test before cooking food to familiarize yourself with the pressure cooking function and ensure the unit is working correctly.
- Add 3 cups of water to the inner pot.
- Place the inner pot into the main unit.
- Close the lid, ensuring it is securely locked. The steam release valve should be in the "Sealing" position.
- Plug in the power cord.
- Select the "Pressure Cook" function and set the time to 5 minutes.
- Press "Start". The cooker will preheat and then begin pressure cooking.
- Once cooking is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for a few minutes, then carefully turn the steam release valve to the "Venting" position to quick release any remaining pressure.
- Once the float valve drops, open the lid.
Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Place the inner pot into the main unit. Add ingredients according to your recipe. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Close the lid by aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the base, then rotate clockwise until it locks.
- Ensure the steam release valve is in the "Sealing" position for pressure cooking. For non-pressure functions, it can be in "Venting".
- Plug in the appliance. The display will show "OFF".
- Select your desired cooking function from the control panel (e.g., Pressure Cook, Sauté, Slow Cook, Rice, Steam, Oatmeal, Cake, Yogurt, Pasta, Soup/Broth, Bean/Chili, Manual Setting).
- Adjust the cooking time and pressure level (Low, Medium, High) using the '+' and '-' buttons if needed.
- Press "Start" to begin cooking. The display will show "On" during preheating.
- Once cooking is complete, the unit will beep and automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode (unless cancelled).
Steam Release
There are two methods for releasing pressure:
- Natural Release: Allow the cooker to cool down naturally. The pressure will dissipate over time, and the float valve will drop on its own. This method is ideal for foods that benefit from continued cooking or have high liquid content.
- Quick Release: Carefully turn the steam release valve to the "Venting" position. Steam will rapidly escape. WARNING: Keep hands and face away from the steam release. Only open the lid once the float valve has dropped completely.

Specific Functions
- Pressure Cook: For fast cooking of various foods. Adjust pressure level (Low, Medium, High) and time as needed.
- Sauté: Use this function to brown meats or sauté vegetables before pressure cooking. The innovative removable lid allows for ingredient mixing without the risk of getting burned by a hot lid. Control oil temperature at 356°F to limit smoke release.
- Slow Cook: For traditional slow cooking recipes.
- Steam: Use the included steam rack for steaming vegetables, fish, or other items.
- Rice: Optimized settings for cooking various types of rice.
- Yogurt: For making homemade yogurt.
- Keep Warm: Automatically activates after most cooking cycles to keep food at serving temperature.
