The nwm DOTS feature an open-ear design, allowing you to remain aware of your surroundings while enjoying audio. They incorporate two key technologies:

Setup

1. Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case.

  1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated; magnetic contacts will hold them in place.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. The indicator lights on the case will show the charging status. Once fully charged, the lights will indicate completion or turn off.

A full charge provides up to 8 hours of playback for the earbuds, and the charging case extends total playback time to approximately 32 hours.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the earbuds are charged and powered on.
  2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "nwm DOTS" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once connected, the earbud indicator light will stop flashing, and you will hear an audible confirmation.

The nwm DOTS support multipoint pairing, allowing connection to two devices simultaneously. To switch between devices, pause audio on one and start playback on the other.

4. Wearing the Earbuds

The nwm DOTS are designed to rest comfortably on your ear, not inside the ear canal.

  1. Gently hook the earbud over the top of your ear.
  2. Position the speaker part of the earbud so it rests just outside your ear canal.
  3. Adjust for a secure and comfortable fit. The lightweight design ensures comfort during extended use.

Troubleshooting

Sound cuts out or disconnects.Ensure you are within Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters/33 feet) of your device. Avoid obstacles that may interfere with the signal.
