3.2. Connectivity Ports

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your Strong SRT84 receiver:
- Connect to TV: Plug the SRT84 receiver directly into an available HDMI port on your television. If the port is difficult to access, use the provided HDMI adapter cable.
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied USB power cable to the Micro USB port on the SRT84 receiver and then to a USB port on your television for power. If your TV does not have a USB port or provides insufficient power, use a standard USB power adapter (not included).
- Antenna Connection: Connect your terrestrial TV antenna cable to the "ANT IN" port on the SRT84 receiver.
- IR Extender (Optional): If the receiver is hidden behind the TV and the remote control signal is obstructed, connect the IR extender cable to the IR port on the receiver and position the IR eye in a visible location.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic TV Viewing
- Power On/Off: Use the POWER button on the remote control to turn the receiver on or off.
- Channel Selection: Use the CH+ / CH- buttons to navigate through channels or enter channel numbers directly using the numeric keypad.
- Volume Control: Use the VOL+ / VOL- buttons to adjust the volume.
- Mute: Press the MUTE button to temporarily silence the audio.
5.2. Using the 2-in-1 Remote Control

5.3. Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
Press the EPG button to access the Electronic Program Guide. This guide displays program information for up to 7 days, allowing you to plan your viewing and recordings.
5.4. Recording (PVR) and Timeshift Functions
The SRT84 supports recording TV programs to an external USB storage device (e.g., USB flash drive, external hard drive) and Timeshift functionality.
- Connect USB Device: Insert a formatted USB storage device into the USB port of the SRT84 receiver.
- Recording: Press the REC button on the remote to start recording the current program. Press STOP to end the recording. You can also schedule recordings via the EPG.
- Timeshift: Press the TIMEShift button to pause live TV. You can then play, fast forward, or rewind the paused content.
