Setup

There are two primary methods for setting up your Wi-Fi Repeater:

1. WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Configuration:

   Press the WPS button on your existing router, then within two minutes, press the WPS button on the STRONG UNIVERSAL WI-FI REPEATER 300. The devices will automatically connect and configure the repeater settings. Use the intelligent signal indicator LEDs on the repeater to find the optimal placement for extended coverage.
2. Web Interface Configuration:

   Plug the repeater into a power outlet. Connect your computer or mobile device to the repeater's Wi-Fi network (usually named 'STRONG_XXXX' or similar). Open a web browser and navigate to 192.168.188.1. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the repeater mode and network settings. This method allows for detailed customization of network parameters.

Operating Modes

The STRONG UNIVERSAL WI-FI REPEATER 300 supports three operational modes for flexible use:

• Repeater Mode: This mode extends the coverage of your existing Wi-Fi network, eliminating dead zones. The repeater connects wirelessly to your main router and broadcasts the signal further.
• Access Point (AP) Mode: In AP mode, the device creates a new wireless access point from a wired Ethernet connection. This is useful for adding Wi-Fi capability to a wired network or creating a separate Wi-Fi network.
