3. Setup (Assembly)

Assembly is required for this bed frame. Clear assembly instructions are provided in English with the product. We recommend having a second person assist with assembly for a smoother process.

General Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all boxes and identify all parts against the provided parts list. The bed frame may arrive in multiple boxes.
2. Assemble Headboard and Footboard: Follow the instructions to connect the headboard and footboard components.
3. Attach Side Rails: Securely attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard.
4. Install Slat Support System: Place and secure the hardwood slats and metal support structures. Ensure the upgraded locking system is engaged.
5. Assemble and Insert Drawers: Construct the storage drawers and install them into the designated slots at the foot of the bed.
6. Final Check: Verify all screws and connections are tight and secure before placing your mattress.

4. Operating Instructions

Using the Storage Drawers:

The two large drawers at the foot of the bed provide convenient storage. To open, gently pull the metal handles. The drawers are equipped with smooth-gliding slides for easy access. To close, push the drawers firmly until they are fully recessed under the bed frame.

Mattress Placement:

Place your King size mattress directly onto the installed wood slats. No box spring is required. Ensure the mattress is centered on the frame. The 18-inch elevated footboard helps keep the mattress securely in place.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

To clean the bed frame, wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the distressed finish.

General Care:

• Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary.
• Avoid dragging the bed frame when moving it; lift it to prevent damage to the frame and your flooring.
• The 6.1-inch under-bed clearance allows for easy cleaning underneath the frame, including access for robotic vacuums.

6. Troubleshooting

Creaking Noises:

• Check Connections: Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened. Loose connections are a common cause of creaking.
• Slat Placement: Verify that all wood slats are correctly seated and evenly spaced.
• Floor Surface: Ensure the bed frame is on a level surface. Uneven floors can cause stress on the frame, leading to noise.

Drawers Not Sliding Smoothly:

• Check Alignment: Ensure the drawers are properly aligned on their tracks.
• Obstructions: Look for any objects or debris that might be blocking the drawer slides.
• Overloading: Avoid overloading the drawers, as this can cause them to stick or become difficult to open.
