4. Setup and Assembly
- Unpack: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the glass jug, lid, measuring cup, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
- Assemble Blade and Jug: Ensure the sealing ring is correctly installed on the blade assembly. Attach the blade assembly to the bottom of the glass jug. Use the provided retaining ring wrench to properly install and tighten the fixing ring and the base of the glass jug. This ensures a secure, leak-free connection.
- Place on Base: Place the assembled glass jug onto the motor base. Turn the jug until it is securely seated and aligned. The blender has a safety interlock; it will not operate unless the jug is correctly positioned.
- Secure Lid: Place the lid onto the glass jug and insert the measuring cup into the lid opening.

5. Operating Instructions
The Uten blender features an 800W motor and a 6-leaf stainless steel blade system for efficient blending.
- Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the glass jug. Do not exceed the 60 Oz. usable capacity. For optimal performance and to prevent overloading, control the working capacity to approximately 75% of the jug's volume.
- Secure Lid: Ensure the lid is securely placed on the jug and the measuring cup is inserted.
- Select Speed: Turn the speed knob to your desired setting:
- 'P' (Pulse): For crushing ice, making smoothies, or short bursts of power. The blender operates only while the knob is held in this position.
- '0' (Off): Turns the blender off.
- '1-2' (Low Speeds): Ideal for soft foods and vegetables.
- '3-5' (Fast Speeds): Suitable for hard fruits, nuts, and more intensive blending.
- Blend: The blue LED light around the knob will illuminate when the blender is powered on and ready for operation. Turn the knob to the desired speed setting to begin blending.
- Adjusting During Blending: If food sticks to the glass wall and cannot be stirred, please add a little water or liquid and stir again. You can also use the pulse function for quick bursts to dislodge ingredients.
- Finish: Once blending is complete, turn the knob back to '0' and unplug the blender from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your blender.
- Pulse Clean: For quick cleaning, add clean water (and a drop of dish soap, if desired) to the jug and select the 'P' (Pulse) mode. This can clean approximately 80% of the residue.
- Hand Washing: For thorough cleaning, it is recommended to combine automatic (pulse) and manual cleaning. Disassemble the glass jug, blade assembly, lid, and measuring cup. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water. The bottom grinder parts can be easily removed for cleaning. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Important Cleaning Notes:
- Since the blender has ABS parts and rubber seals, it is not suitable for dishwasher cleaning. Plastic parts and seals will deform and fail under high temperature cleaning.
- Glass jug is not suitable for use and cleaning in alternating hot and cold conditions, which can easily cause the jug to break. Avoid sudden temperature changes.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your blender, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Blender does not turn on. | 1. Power cord not plugged in. 2. Glass jug not correctly seated or locked. 3. Overheating protection activated. | 1. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. 2. Remove the jug and re-seat it firmly on the motor base, turning until it clicks into place. 3. Unplug the blender and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes. |
| Motor strains or smells burnt. | 1. Overloading the blender. 2. Blending too thick or hard ingredients without sufficient liquid. | 1. Reduce the amount of ingredients. Do not exceed 75% of the usable capacity. 2. Add more liquid to the mixture. Use the pulse function for tough ingredients. If the motor stops, allow it to cool. |
| Ingredients are not blending smoothly or are stuck. | 1. Insufficient liquid. 2. Ingredients are too large or packed too tightly. | 1. Add more liquid (water, milk, juice) to facilitate blending. 2. Cut ingredients into smaller pieces. Use the pulse function to dislodge ingredients. |
| Leakage from the bottom of the jug. | 1. Sealing ring not correctly installed. 2. Fixing ring not tightened properly. | 1. Disassemble the blade assembly and ensure the sealing ring is properly seated. 2. Use the retaining ring wrench to tighten the fixing ring securely. |
