2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury, property damage, or death.

  • Always operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area.
  • Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable, level surface.
  • Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure of 30Mpa (4500 PSI / 300 Bar).
  • Monitor the compressor temperature; it should not exceed 85℃ (185℉). If the temperature approaches this limit, turn off the compressor and allow it to cool.
  • The running time should not exceed 45 minutes continuously. Allow for a cooling period after extended use.
  • Critical Safety Step: Before starting the machine, you must replace the oil plug with the breathing rod (breather valve). Failure to do so will cause internal pressure buildup and may lead to severe damage or explosion.
  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, when operating the compressor.
  • Keep children and unauthorized personnel away from the compressor during operation.
  • Ensure all connections are secure and free of leaks before operation.

  • Power Switch: Controls the compressor's power.
  • Built-in Filter: Helps purify the air.
  • Manual Bleed Knob: Releases pressure from the system.
  • Filling Hose: Connects the compressor to the air tank/device.
  • Burst Disc: A safety feature designed to rupture if pressure exceeds safe limits.
  • Muffler: Reduces operational noise.
  • Breather Rod: Replaces the oil cap during operation to allow crankcase ventilation.
  • Water Pump: Part of the water cooling system.
  • Fan Cooling System: Provides additional cooling.
  • Oil-Water Separator: Filters moisture and oil from the compressed air.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your TUXING TXES022 compressor for first use:

  1. Unpacking and Inspection: Carefully remove the compressor and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the outer packaging and the machine for any signs of damage. If damage is found, do not proceed with setup and contact customer support.
  2. Oil Filling: The compressor does not come with silicone oil due to transportation restrictions. You will need to prepare silicone oil separately. Add silicone oil to the compressor until the level reaches the red dot on the oil sight glass.
  3. Install Breather Rod: Locate the oil cap. Remove the oil cap and replace it with the breathing rod (breather valve). This is a critical step for safe operation.
  4. Connect Water Cooling System: Connect the water pump to a suitable water reservoir (e.g., a bucket of water). Ensure the water pump is submerged and the water circulation lines are properly connected to the compressor.
  5. Connect Air Filter and Hose: The compressor includes a filter and filling hose. Ensure the blue filter and hose are correctly assembled and securely connected to the compressor without any leaks.
  6. Power Connection: Connect the compressor to a standard 110V power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the compressor is set up, follow these steps for operation:

  1. Connect to Device: Connect the filling hose to the air tank or device you intend to fill. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
  2. Preset Pressure: You can preset the desired pressure on the compressor. The maximum preset pressure is 30Mpa (4500 PSI / 300 Bar). The compressor will automatically stop once this pressure is reached.
  3. Start Water Pump: Turn on the water pump to initiate the water cooling system.
  4. Start Compressor: Turn on the main power switch of the compressor.
  5. Monitor Operation: During operation, continuously monitor the pressure gauge and the compressor's temperature. The working temperature range is typically 50-85℃ (122-185℉). If the temperature approaches 85℃, turn off the compressor and allow it to cool down before resuming.
  6. Inflation Speed: For reference, the compressor can fill a 0.5L cylinder to 30Mpa in approximately 5 minutes, and a 3L cylinder to 30Mpa in about 35 minutes.
  7. Automatic Shut-off: The compressor will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.
  8. Shut Down: Once filling is complete and the compressor has stopped, turn off the compressor's power switch, then turn off the water pump. Slowly open the manual bleed knob to release any residual pressure in the system before disconnecting the filling hose.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your compressor.

  • Oil Level Check: Regularly check the silicone oil level and refill as needed to the red dot on the sight glass.
  • Cooling System: Ensure the water cooling system is always functioning correctly during operation. Keep the water reservoir clean and refill with fresh water as necessary. The fan cooling system should also be kept clear of obstructions.
  • Filter Replacement: The air filter helps maintain air quality. Replace the filter elements periodically according to usage or if you notice a decrease in air quality.
  • General Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the compressor clean and free of dust and debris.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the compressor in a dry, clean environment.
