5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Snow Shovel
To start the snow shovel, engage the 2-step secure boot function. This typically involves pressing a safety button or lever first, then squeezing the main trigger switch. The motor will start, and the auger blades will begin to rotate.
5.2 Clearing Snow
Push the snow shovel forward into the snow. The rotating auger blades will collect and throw the snow. Move at a steady pace, allowing the shovel to clear the snow effectively. For optimal performance, avoid pushing too quickly or attempting to clear snow deeper than the maximum recommended depth in a single pass.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Snow shovel does not start. | Battery not installed correctly or not charged. Safety switch/trigger not fully engaged. | Ensure battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Confirm both steps of the secure boot function are engaged. |
| Reduced snow clearing performance. | Snow is too deep or wet for a single pass. Debris obstructing the auger. | Clear snow in shallower passes. Disconnect battery and clear any obstructions from the auger. |
| Battery drains quickly. | Battery not fully charged. Operating in very heavy snow. Battery nearing end of life. | Ensure battery is fully charged before use. Reduce load by taking shallower passes. Consider replacing the battery if performance consistently degrades. |
