1. Product Overview

2. Safety Instructions

Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

2.1 General Safety Precautions

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Hearing protection is also recommended.
• Maintain a clear work area: Ensure the area around you is free from obstacles, debris, and bystanders.
• Secure your footing: Work from a stable and balanced position. Avoid overreaching.

• 4.2 Automatic Chain Lubrication System

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Insert the battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
3. Allow 2-3 hours for a full charge. Disconnect the battery once fully charged to prolong its lifespan.

5.2 Installing the Chain and Guide Bar

1. Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before installation.
2. Carefully place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (refer to markings on the chain and guide bar).
3. Align the guide bar and chain with the chainsaw's sprocket and mounting studs.
4. Secure the guide bar cover and tighten the retaining knob.

5.3 Adjusting Chain Tension

Proper chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.

1. With the guide bar cover secured, rotate the tool-free tension adjustment knob (red knob on the side) clockwise to increase tension, or counter-clockwise to decrease tension.
2. Check the tension by pulling the chain away from the guide bar. The drive links should remain in the guide bar groove, and the chain should snap back into place when released.

5.4 Filling the Oil Tank

The chainsaw requires lubricating oil for the chain and guide bar. Use standard chainsaw bar and chain oil.

1. Locate the oil tank cap (usually near the guide bar).
2. Unscrew the cap and carefully fill the 30ml oil tank with bar and chain oil. Avoid overfilling.
3. Securely replace the oil tank cap.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Starting the Chainsaw

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into the chainsaw.
2. Grip the chainsaw firmly with both hands (if using the detachable grip) or one hand (for lighter tasks).
3. To start, first press and hold the safety lock button (usually located near the trigger).
4. While holding the safety lock button, press the trigger switch to activate the chain. Release the safety lock button once the chain starts moving.

6.2 Making a Cut

Always ensure the chain is at full speed before making contact with the material to be cut.

• Position the chainsaw so the bottom of the guide bar makes contact with the branch or wood.
• Apply light, steady pressure. Let the chainsaw do the work; do not force it through the material.
• Be aware of kickback, especially when cutting with the tip of the guide bar.
• For larger branches, make relief cuts to prevent pinching the guide bar.

6.3 Stopping the Chainsaw

Release the trigger switch to stop the chain. The chain should stop quickly. Always remove the battery when the chainsaw is not in use or before performing any maintenance.

7.1 Chain Lubrication

Continuously monitor the oil level in the tank. Press the oil pump button periodically during operation to ensure the chain remains adequately lubricated. This prevents excessive wear and heat buildup.

7.2 Chain Tension

Check chain tension frequently, especially during initial use and after prolonged cutting. A loose chain can derail, causing damage or injury. Adjust using the tool-free knob as described in Section 5.3.

7.3 Cleaning

• After each use, remove the battery.
• Use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the guide bar, chain, and motor housing.
• Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

7.4 Battery Care and Storage

• Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• For long-term storage, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.
• Do not store batteries in a discharged state.
