Setup

1. Surface Preparation

Before installation, ensure the surface where the LED strip will be applied is clean, dry, and smooth. Dust, dirt, or moisture can affect the adhesive's effectiveness. These lights are designed for indoor use only and are powered by a 24-volt working voltage.

2. Strip Installation

Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface. Avoid making sharp turns; instead, create gradual curves to prevent damage to the strip and ensure consistent lighting.

3. Connecting Power

1. Smart IC Lighting Effects

These LED strip lights feature Smart IC technology, allowing them to display multiple colors simultaneously on a single line. This differs from traditional RGB lights which typically show only one color across the entire strip. This technology enables segmented color control, providing dynamic and vibrant lighting effects.

2. App and IR Remote Control

Maintenance

• Adhesive Care: If repositioning is necessary, ensure the new surface is clean and dry. The adhesive may lose effectiveness after multiple removals.

Troubleshooting

• Lights not turning on:
  • Check all connections to ensure they are secure between the strip, controller, and power supply.
  • Verify the power supply is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Ensure the remote control battery is functional. Replace if necessary (typically every 2 years for consistent use).
• Remote control not responding:
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the IR receiver on the controller.
  • Replace the remote control battery if the lights do not respond.
• App connectivity issues:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  • Restart the app and try pairing again.
  • If the timer function is not working after a power outage, reset the timer settings within the app.
• Inaccurate or dim colors:
  • Some colors, particularly white, green, and yellow shades, may appear slightly off compared to other colors. This is a characteristic of certain LED types.
  • If a section of the strip is dim, check for kinks or sharp bends in the strip that might be interrupting power flow. Ensure gradual turns during installation.
• Power adapter issues (high pitch sound, overheating):
  • If the power adapter emits a high-pitched frequency when the lights are off or during certain modes (fade, flash, jump), or if it becomes excessively hot, discontinue use. This may indicate a faulty adapter. Contact customer support for a replacement.
• Plug compatibility:
  • The product is supplied with an American 2-pin plug. Users in other regions may require a suitable adapter (not included).
