1. Product Overview

2. Safety Information

For safe operation, please read and follow all instructions. Ensure the smart plug is used within its specified electrical ratings (10A, 110V, 1100W). Do not disassemble or modify the device. 3. Setup Guide

3.1 What's in the Box

3.2 Initial Setup

  1. Download the App: Search for the "Surplife" app (or the app specified in the included physical manual) on your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download it.
  2. Register/Log In: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Plug In the Smart Plug: Insert the smart plug into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the plug should start blinking rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, press and hold the power button on the plug for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
  4. Add Device in App: In the app, tap the "+" icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a new device. Select "Electrical Outlet" or "Smart Plug" from the device list.
  5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the smart plug to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is also connected to the same 2.4 GHz network during setup.
  6. Rename Device: Once successfully added, you can rename the smart plug to something easily recognizable (e.g., "Living Room Lamp," "Coffee Maker").

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Remote Control via App

Once the smart plug is connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can control any connected appliance from anywhere using the app on your smartphone. Simply open the app, select the smart plug, and toggle its power on or off.

4.2 Voice Control Integration

The smart plug is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. To enable voice control:

  1. Link Accounts: Open the Alexa or Google Home app.
  2. Enable Skill/Action: Search for the skill/action related to your smart plug's app (e.g., "Surplife").
  3. Follow Prompts: Link your smart plug app account with your voice assistant account.
  4. Discover Devices: Ask your voice assistant to "Discover devices" or manually add them.

You can now use voice commands such as: "Alexa, turn on the living room lamp" or "Hey Google, turn off the coffee maker."

4.3 Scheduling and Timer Mode

Set custom schedules and timers to automatically turn devices on/off at specific times. This feature is ideal for managing lighting, coffee makers, or other appliances to suit your daily routine and save energy.

  • Timer: Set a countdown timer for the device to turn on or off after a specified duration.
  • Schedule: Create daily or weekly schedules for automated power control.

4.4 Loop Task Function

The loop task function allows you to create recurring on/off cycles for devices. For example, you can set a lamp to turn on for 30 minutes and then off for 30 minutes repeatedly, which is useful for simulating occupancy or managing specific device usage patterns.

5. Maintenance
