Setup
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the coffee maker.
- Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure the power cord is not tangled or obstructed.
2. First Use Cleaning
Before brewing coffee for the first time, it is recommended to run a full cycle with only water to clean the internal components.
- Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the MAX fill line.
- Place the empty reusable filter basket into its holder.
- Place the empty glass carafe on the warming plate.
- Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the M/A button to start a brewing cycle.
- Once the cycle is complete, discard the water from the carafe and rinse the carafe and filter basket.

Operating Instructions
1. Brewing Coffee
- Open the water reservoir lid and fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water to your desired level, indicated by the markings on the side. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Place the reusable filter basket into its holder.
- Add your desired amount of ground coffee into the filter basket. A general guideline is one level measuring spoon (approximately 5-7 grams) per cup. Adjust to taste.
- Close the water reservoir lid.
- Place the empty glass carafe on the warming plate.
- Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
- Press the M/A button to start brewing immediately. The red indicator light will turn on, and brewing will begin.
- The coffee maker features an anti-drip function, allowing you to temporarily remove the carafe during brewing to pour a cup. Replace the carafe within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.
- Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the warming function, keeping the coffee hot for 40 minutes before automatically shutting off for safety.

2. Setting the Programmable Timer
The programmable preset function allows you to set a specific time for the coffee maker to start brewing automatically.

- Prepare the coffee maker with water and coffee grounds as described in steps 1-5 of "Brewing Coffee".
- Press the PRO button. The word "PROGRAM" will appear on the display.
- Use the HEURE (Hour) and MIN (Minute) buttons to set your desired brewing start time.
- Once the desired time is set, the yellow indicator light will turn on, confirming the preset mode is active. The red light will illuminate when the brewing process begins at the programmed time.
- The coffee maker will automatically start brewing at the set time.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker.
1. Daily Cleaning
- Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning and allow it to cool completely.
- Wash the glass carafe and reusable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are also top-rack dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Do not immerse the coffee maker unit in water or any other liquid.

2. Descaling (Mineral Deposit Removal)
Mineral deposits (calcium) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting its performance. Descale your coffee maker every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
- Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).
- Place the empty reusable filter basket and carafe in position.
- Run a full brewing cycle with the vinegar solution.
- After the cycle, turn off the coffee maker and let it stand for 15 minutes.
- Discard the solution from the carafe.
- Fill the water reservoir with clean water and run at least two full brewing cycles with only water to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste.
