Setup

1. Initial NVR Setup

  1. Connect Power: Plug the NVR's power adapter into an electrical outlet. The NVR will power on automatically.
  2. Monitor Display: The integrated 10-inch monitor will display the system's boot screen.
  3. Network Connection (Optional): For remote viewing and app functionality, connect the NVR to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Navigate to the NVR's system settings to configure Wi-Fi.

2. Camera Installation and Pairing

The solar cameras and NVR are pre-paired at the factory for plug-and-play setup. Ensure the NVR is powered on before installing cameras.

  1. Charge Cameras: Fully charge the camera's built-in battery using a USB-C cable before initial installation, especially if solar charging conditions are not optimal immediately.
  2. Select Mounting Location: Choose a location for each camera that provides the desired viewing angle and receives ample direct sunlight for the solar panel. Ensure the location is within Wi-Fi range of the NVR.
  3. Mount Cameras: Use the provided screws and anchors to securely mount the cameras. The cameras are IP66 waterproof, suitable for outdoor use.
  4. Position Solar Panel: Connect the solar panel to the camera using the 3-meter cable. Adjust the solar panel's angle to maximize sun exposure throughout the day.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No image on NVR monitor.NVR not powered on; power adapter issue.Ensure NVR power adapter is securely connected to both the NVR and a working electrical outlet. Check power indicator light on NVR.
Camera not connecting to NVR.Camera out of range; low battery; pairing issue.Move camera closer to NVR. Fully charge camera battery. If still not connected, re-pair the camera with the NVR (refer to NVR manual for specific pairing steps).
Poor image quality.Dirty lens; low light; network interference.Clean camera lens. Ensure adequate lighting for color night vision or switch to IR mode. Reduce Wi-Fi interference by moving NVR or camera.
Solar panel not charging camera.Insufficient sunlight; dirty panel; panel angle.Ensure solar panel receives direct sunlight for several hours daily. Clean the panel surface. Adjust panel angle for optimal sun exposure.
False motion alerts.High sensitivity; environmental factors (trees, animals).Adjust motion detection sensitivity settings in the NVR or mobile app. Define specific detection zones to exclude irrelevant areas.
Cannot access system remotely via app.NVR not connected to internet; incorrect app configuration.Verify NVR is connected to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure correct device ID/QR code is used for app setup. Check router settings for any firewall restrictions.
