3. Setup Guide
3.1 Initial NVR Setup
- Power On NVR: Connect the NVR to a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The system will boot up automatically.
- Language Selection: On the initial setup screen, select your preferred language (e.g., English) and click "Next step".
- Network Setup: The system will prompt for network configuration. For wireless setup, select "Wireless network settings".
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your Wi-Fi network from the list, enter the password, and click "Connect". Ensure the NVR is placed in an area with strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Date and Time: Verify the date and time settings. You can enable "Automatically set time" for convenience.
- Storage Management: Confirm that the pre-installed 500GB HDD is recognized and formatted.
- Set Password: Create a strong password (6 to 19 characters) for the NVR system. This password will be required when binding the device to the Eseecloud APP.
- Download App: Scan the QR code displayed on the screen to download the Eseecloud APP. Scan the second QR code to add your current equipment to the app for remote viewing and notifications.

3.2 Camera Installation
- Mounting Location: Choose a location for each camera that provides optimal viewing angles and receives sufficient sunlight for the solar panel. Ensure the location is within Wi-Fi range of the NVR.
- Secure Mounting: Use the provided screws and anchors to securely mount the camera and its solar panel. The solar panel can be adjusted 360 degrees for maximum sun exposure.
- Connect Solar Panel: Connect the 3-meter cable from the solar panel to the camera.
- Powering Options: The camera can be powered by solar energy, its built-in battery, or continuously via a USB-C cable if an indoor power source is available.
- Camera Pairing: The cameras are pre-paired with the NVR. Once powered on, they should automatically connect and display live view on the NVR monitor. If a camera does not connect, press its On/Off button to re-establish connection.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Live View and PTZ Control
- NVR Monitor: The 10-inch NVR monitor displays live feeds from all connected cameras. You can switch between single-camera view and multi-camera grid view.
- Mobile App: Open the Eseecloud APP on your smartphone to view live feeds remotely.
- PTZ Control: Use the controls on the NVR or within the mobile app to pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (90° vertical) the camera lens, providing comprehensive coverage.

4.2 Human Motion Detection and Alerts
- The system uses PIR sensors to accurately detect human movement, reducing false alarms from pets or environmental factors.
- Upon detection, the camera will record the event and send instant notifications to your linked mobile app.
- You can configure alert settings, including camera light, NVR buzzer, email alerts, app push notifications, and camera siren, via the NVR interface or mobile app.

4.3 Two-Way Talk
- Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker on the cameras to engage in two-way audio communication with visitors or deter intruders directly from your mobile app.

4.4 Recording Modes and Playback
- Continuous Recording: The system can record 24/7. If the battery level drops below 50% during continuous recording, the device will switch to motion detection mode to conserve power.
- Motion Recording: Records only when motion is detected, with adjustable recording duration and cooldown options.
- Playback: Access recorded footage remotely via the Eseecloud APP or directly on the NVR monitor. The smart playback feature allows you to easily review important events.

5. Maintenance
- Camera Lens Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Solar Panel Cleaning: Keep solar panels free of dust, dirt, and debris to maintain optimal charging efficiency.
- Firmware Updates: Check for and install firmware updates for the NVR and cameras via the mobile app or NVR settings to ensure system stability and access to new features.
- Battery Health: While solar-powered, occasional checks on battery performance, especially during prolonged cloudy periods, can help ensure continuous operation.
- HDD Management: The 500GB HDD is pre-installed. Ensure it has sufficient space for recordings. The system typically overwrites older footage when full.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Image on NVR Monitor:
- Ensure the NVR is properly powered on and connected to the monitor.
- Verify that cameras are powered on and within range of the NVR.
- Check camera battery levels.
- Try re-pairing the camera with the NVR by pressing the camera's On/Off button.
- No Network Connection:
- Confirm your Wi-Fi router is working correctly.
- Ensure the NVR is connected to the correct 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the NVR's location.
- Restart the NVR and your Wi-Fi router.
- False Alarms from Motion Detection:
- Adjust the PIR sensor sensitivity settings in the NVR or mobile app.
- Ensure the camera's field of view is clear of moving objects like tree branches or flags that might trigger false alarms.
- The system is designed for human detection; ensure it's not detecting large animals or vehicles if not desired.
- Poor Night Vision Quality:
- Clean the camera lens and infrared (IR) lights.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view at night.
- Check if the camera is in the correct night vision mode (color or IR).
