3. Setup and Installation

The WILLED Motion Sensor Night Light offers two convenient installation methods:

1. Direct Magnetic Attachment: If the desired surface is metallic (e.g., a refrigerator), the night light can be directly attached using its built-in strong magnet.
2. Adhesive Metal Sheet: For non-metallic surfaces, use the provided double-sided adhesive metal sheets. Clean and dry the surface thoroughly before applying the adhesive sheet. Once the sheet is securely attached, the night light can be magnetically mounted onto it. This allows for easy removal for charging.

Important: Avoid installing two motion sensor lights too close to each other, as the brightness of one may prevent the other from lighting up correctly.

4. Operating Modes

The night light features a switch on the side to select between three settings: ON, OFF, and AUTO (Motion Sensor Mode).

• Motion Sensor Mode (AUTO): In this mode, the light automatically turns on when movement is detected in a dark environment (below 20 lux). It will turn off automatically after 20 seconds if no further movement is detected. The motion detection range is 3 meters (10 feet) with a 120-degree angle.
• Always-On Mode (ON): The light remains continuously on.
• Off (OFF): The light is turned off.

5. Charging and Battery Life

The night light has a built-in 500mAh rechargeable battery. Use the included 3-in-1 Type-C cable to charge the lights. A red indicator light signifies charging, which turns green when fully charged.

• Charging Time: Fully charged in approximately 2 hours.
• Battery Life (Always-On Mode): Up to 16 hours of continuous use.
• Battery Life (Motion Sensor Mode): Up to 2 months (based on 20 activations per day, 20 seconds each).

6. Maintenance

• Keep the lights clean by wiping with a dry, soft cloth.
• This product is not waterproof. Do not use it in humid environments.
• When not using the lamp for an extended period, switch it to OFF to preserve battery life.

7. Troubleshooting

• Light not turning on in Motion Sensor Mode: Ensure the environment is dark enough (below 20 lux). Check if the light is fully charged. Verify that the switch is set to AUTO.
• Lights turning on/off unexpectedly: Ensure lights are not installed too close to each other. External light sources or rapid temperature changes might affect sensor performance.
• Adhesive not holding: Ensure the surface was clean and dry before application. For best results, apply pressure for a few seconds after sticking the metal sheet.
