Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your DieseRC 2201F Wireless Light Switch Receiver. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and efficient operation. This receiver is designed to control AC appliances with a maximum load of 10 Amperes.

Setup and Installation

1. Safety Precautions

  • Always disconnect power to the circuit at the main breaker before performing any wiring.
  • Ensure that the input voltage (AC 110V-250V) matches your electrical system.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load of 10A (1100W-2500W).
  • Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician if you are unsure.

2. Wiring the Receiver

Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connections. The receiver has clearly marked terminals for AC INPUT and OUTPUT.

This image displays the DieseRC 2201F wireless receiver. It features a white plastic casing with a small antenna. Printed on the casing are the specifications: Maxload: 10A (1100W~2500W), Input: AC 110V~250V, 50-60Hz, along with CE, FC, and RoHS certifications. The bottom of the device shows green screw terminals for wiring, clearly labeled for AC INPUT (L, N) and OUTPUT (N, L).

  1. Connect the live (L) wire from your AC power source to the 'L' terminal under 'AC INPUT'.
  2. Connect the neutral (N) wire from your AC power source to the 'N' terminal under 'AC INPUT'.
  3. Connect the neutral (N) wire of your appliance (e.g., light fixture) to the 'N' terminal under 'OUTPUT'.
  4. Connect the live (L) wire of your appliance to the 'L' terminal under 'OUTPUT'.
  5. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

3. Pairing with a Wireless Switch

To pair the receiver with a compatible DieseRC wireless switch (sold separately):

  3. Test the connection by pressing the ON/OFF buttons on your wireless switch.
  4. To pair additional switches, repeat the process.

Operating Instructions

Once the receiver is successfully wired and paired with a wireless switch, operation is straightforward:

  • Press the 'ON' button on your paired wireless switch to turn on the connected appliance.
  • Press the 'OFF' button on your paired wireless switch to turn off the connected appliance.
  • The wireless range can vary depending on environmental factors such as walls, metal structures, and other wireless interference.

Maintenance

The DieseRC 2201F receiver requires minimal maintenance:

  • Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
  • Do not expose the receiver to moisture or extreme temperatures.
  • Periodically check wiring connections to ensure they remain secure.

Troubleshooting

  • Appliance does not turn ON/OFF:
    • Check if power is supplied to the receiver.
    • Verify all wiring connections are correct and secure.
    • Ensure the wireless switch is paired correctly with the receiver. Try re-pairing if necessary.
    • Check if the appliance itself is functional.
  • Short operating range or intermittent control:
    • Ensure there are no significant obstructions (e.g., thick walls, metal objects) between the wireless switch and the receiver.
    • Avoid placing the receiver near other devices that may cause radio frequency interference.
    • The receiver's IP00 rating means it is not protected against dust or water; ensure it is installed in a suitable environment.
  • Receiver LED not lighting up:
    • Check the power supply to the receiver.
    • Ensure the wiring is correct.
