5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.

  • Cleaning Dust Filters:
    • The front panel features an integrated magnetic mesh filter. Gently pull the front panel to detach it and clean the mesh with compressed air or a soft brush.
    • The top mesh filter can be easily removed for cleaning.

  • General Cleaning:
    • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the case.
    • For the tempered glass panel, use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth.
    • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PC build, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • System Not Powering On:
    • Ensure the power supply is properly connected to the wall outlet and the PSU switch is 'On'.
    • Verify all power cables (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, PCIe power) are securely connected to the motherboard and components.
    • Check that the front panel power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.
  • Fans Not Spinning / RGB Not Working:
    • Confirm that the fans are properly connected to the motherboard or the integrated RGB hub.
    • Ensure the RGB hub is receiving power and is connected to the motherboard's RGB header (if applicable).
    • Check your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or RGB software for fan control and lighting options.
  • USB Ports Not Functioning:
    • Verify that the USB 3.0 and USB Type-C cables from the front panel are correctly connected to the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
    • Check your motherboard's drivers and BIOS settings.
  • No Display Output:
    • Ensure your monitor cable is connected to the graphics card (GPU) output, not the motherboard's integrated graphics ports (unless you are using integrated graphics).
    • Reseat the graphics card in its PCIe slot.
    • Check that the GPU is receiving adequate power from the PSU.

For more detailed troubleshooting, consult the manuals for your individual PC components (motherboard, GPU, PSU, etc.) or contact Cougar support.
