5.6 Loop Recording

The dash cam continuously records in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked footage is automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.7 G-Sensor & Emergency Lock

The integrated G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When an event is detected, the current video segment is automatically locked and protected from being overwritten by loop recording. You can also manually lock a video segment via the touch screen or voice command.

5.8 24-hour Parking Monitoring

With the OBD Hardwire Kit installed, the dash cam can monitor your vehicle while parked.

  • G-Sensor Parking Mode: The dash cam will automatically start recording if it detects any impact or sudden motion while the vehicle is parked.
  • Time-Lapse Parking Mode: The dash cam records continuously at a low frame rate (e.g., 1 frame per second) to create a condensed video of the parking period, saving storage space.

  • Formatting: It is recommended to format the microSD card every 2-4 weeks to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Format the card directly through the dash cam's settings menu.
  • Card Type: Use a high-endurance Class 10 or U3 microSD card (up to 128GB supported). A 64GB card is included.
  • Replacement: Replace the microSD card if you notice frequent errors or recording issues.
