3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing and Assembly

The WORX Nitro snow shovel comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly:

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Unfold the shaft of the snow shovel. Ensure the wires are properly tucked in and not pinched.
  3. Secure the shaft connection point using the provided bolt and Allen wrench.
  4. Adjust the auxiliary handle to a comfortable operating position and tighten it securely.

3.2 Battery Installation and Charging

The snow shovel requires two 20V Power Share™ PRO batteries for 40V operation. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use.

  • Insert the two 20V 4.0Ah batteries into the designated battery slots on the snow shovel until they click into place.
  • To charge the batteries, remove them from the snow shovel and place them into the dual-port fast charger. The indicator lights on the batteries and charger will show the charging status.

4. Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure all safety precautions are understood and followed. Wear appropriate safety gear, including eye protection and gloves.

4.1 Starting and Stopping

  1. Ensure batteries are fully charged and securely installed.
  2. Press the safety button located on the handle.
  3. Squeeze the trigger to start the snow shovel.
  4. Release the trigger to stop the snow shovel.

4.2 Clearing Snow

5. Maintenance and Storage
