5. Setup and Installation
This section guides you through the process of installing the Eskimo Junior 240mm AIO Liquid Cooler into your PC system. Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before beginning.
5.1 Prepare Your Motherboard
- Identify your CPU socket type (Intel LGA or AMD AM).
- Install the appropriate backplate (for Intel sockets) or use the existing AMD backplate.
- Attach the correct mounting standoffs to the motherboard.

5.2 Install the Radiator and Fans
- Mount the two Squama 2503B fans to the radiator using the provided fan screws. Ensure the fan airflow direction is appropriate for your case's cooling setup (intake or exhaust).
- Secure the radiator assembly to an available 240mm mounting location in your PC case (e.g., front, top, or rear).
5.3 Install the CPU Block
- Ensure the CPU surface is clean. If thermal paste is not pre-applied, apply a small amount (pea-sized dot) to the center of your CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS).
- Carefully place the CPU block onto the CPU, aligning the mounting holes with the standoffs.
- Secure the CPU block with the appropriate thumb screws or nuts, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.

5.4 Cable Management and Connections
- Connect the pump power cable to the CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header on your motherboard.
- Connect the fan PWM cables to the fan headers on your motherboard or to the included ARGB controller.
- Connect the ARGB cables from the fans and CPU block to the magnetic multi-mode ARGB controller.
- Connect the ARGB controller to a SATA power connector from your power supply. If desired, connect the controller's ARGB sync cable to a compatible 3-pin 5V ARGB header on your motherboard for software control.
- Route all cables neatly to ensure proper airflow and a clean build.

6. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the Eskimo Junior AIO cooler operates automatically, regulating fan and pump speeds based on CPU temperature.
6.1 ARGB Lighting Control
- Magnetic Multi-mode ARGB Controller: Use the included controller to cycle through 6 built-in lighting effects. This provides convenient control without software.
- Motherboard Software Sync: If you connected the ARGB controller to your motherboard's 3-pin 5V ARGB header, you can control the lighting effects using your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync). Ensure the controller is set to motherboard sync mode if applicable.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your liquid cooler.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the radiator fins and fan blades using compressed air or a soft brush. Excessive dust can impede airflow and reduce cooling efficiency.
- Fan Inspection: Check fan blades for any obstructions or signs of wear. Ensure fans are spinning freely and quietly.
- Tube and Connection Check: Visually inspect the tubes and connections for any signs of leaks, kinks, or damage. While the loop is sealed, regular checks are recommended.
- CPU Block Surface: It is generally not necessary to reapply thermal paste unless the cooler is removed from the CPU. If you do remove it, clean both surfaces thoroughly and apply new thermal paste.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Eskimo Junior AIO cooler, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
- No Power / Fans Not Spinning / Pump Not Working:
- Ensure all power cables (SATA for ARGB controller, pump power to motherboard) are securely connected.
- Check motherboard BIOS settings to ensure fan headers are configured correctly and not set to "disabled" or "manual" with 0 RPM.
- Verify the pump is connected to the correct header (CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP).
- Poor Cooling Performance / High CPU Temperatures:
- Confirm the CPU block is properly seated and making full contact with the CPU IHS. Re-seat if necessary, ensuring even pressure.
- Check if thermal paste was applied correctly and is evenly spread. Reapply if needed.
- Ensure fans are installed in the correct orientation for optimal airflow (e.g., pulling air through the radiator or pushing it out).
- Clean any dust buildup on the radiator fins.
- Verify pump is running at its rated speed (check BIOS or monitoring software).
- RGB Lighting Not Working or Incorrect Colors:
- Ensure all ARGB cables are securely connected to the controller and the controller is receiving SATA power.
- If using motherboard software control, ensure the controller's sync cable is connected to the correct 3-pin 5V ARGB header (not 4-pin 12V RGB).
- Try cycling through effects using the magnetic controller to rule out software issues.
- Update motherboard RGB software to the latest version.
- Unusual Noises:
- Gurgling/Bubbling: Small air bubbles can sometimes be present. Gently tilt your PC case to help move air bubbles to the highest point of the radiator. This usually resolves over time.
- Fan Noise: Check for loose cables hitting fan blades or debris caught in the fans. Ensure fans are securely mounted.
- Pump Noise: A slight hum is normal. Excessive grinding or rattling may indicate an issue. Ensure the pump is not running dry (though unlikely in a sealed AIO).
If these steps do not resolve your issue, please contact Geometric Future customer support.
