Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. Wash the egg tray, measuring cup, and top cover with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth. Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. General Operation
- Using the provided measuring cup, add the desired amount of water to the heating plate. The water level determines the egg's doneness.
- Place the egg tray onto the heating plate.
- Carefully place up to 7 eggs onto the egg tray. You may use the piercing pin on the bottom of the measuring cup to gently pierce the larger end of each egg to prevent cracking during boiling.
- Cover the appliance with the top cover.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Press the power button to start the boiling process. The LED indicator will illuminate.
- Once the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked, the appliance will automatically shut off, and the LED indicator will turn off.
- Carefully remove the top cover (use caution as steam will be hot) and then the egg tray.
- Rinse the cooked eggs under cold water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

5.2. Boiling Modes
The Lifelong LLEEB09 offers three boiling modes, controlled by the amount of water added using the measuring cup:

Image 5.2: Water Levels for Different Boiling Modes
- Soft Boil: Fill water up to the 25mL mark on the measuring cup. This yields eggs with a runny yolk and soft whites.
- Medium Boil: Fill water up to the 50mL mark on the measuring cup. This results in eggs with a creamy, partially set yolk.
- Hard Boil: Fill water up to the 75mL mark on the measuring cup. This produces fully cooked eggs with firm yolks and whites.
Note: Adjust water levels slightly based on egg size and personal preference. For poaching, use the appropriate water level for your desired doneness and place eggs directly into the poaching cups (if included, or use a separate poaching accessory).
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your egg boiler.
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove the top cover and egg tray. These parts can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth. For stubborn mineral deposits (scale) on the heating plate, you can use a solution of white vinegar and water. Let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe clean. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the surface.
- Do not immerse the main unit (heating plate base) in water or any other liquid.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the appliance.
