2. Safety Information

Your child's safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Always ensure all parts are correctly assembled and securely fastened before placing a child in the crib.
  • Do not use the crib if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact customer support for replacement parts.
  • Do not substitute parts. Use only manufacturer-supplied components.
  • The mattress used with this crib must be at least 38 inches (96.5 cm) long by 24 inches (61 cm) wide and no more than 6 inches (15 cm) thick.
  • To prevent falls, when the child is able to pull to a standing position, set the mattress to the lowest position.
  • Do not place the crib near windows where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
  • Do not place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
  • Do not suspend strings over a crib or attach strings to toys.
  • Periodically check all fasteners for tightness. Do not overtighten.

  2. Insert the mattress support into the designated slots on the side rails. Choose the desired mattress height (see Section 4.1 for guidance on height adjustments).

4.1 Adjustable Mattress Heights

The crib features four adjustable mattress height positions to accommodate your child's developmental stages and ensure safety.

  • Highest Position: For newborns and infants who cannot push up on hands and knees.
  • Mid-High Position: For infants who are beginning to sit up.
  • Mid-Low Position: For infants who can pull themselves to a standing position.
  • Lowest Position: For toddlers who can stand and are at risk of climbing out.

To adjust the mattress height, carefully remove the mattress, unfasten the mattress support from its current position, and re-secure it at the desired height. Always ensure all fasteners are tight before placing your child back in the crib.

4.2 2-in-1 Adaptable Legs

The crib's legs can be configured for either stable stationary use or a gentle rocking motion.

  • Stable Stay: For a fixed position, ensure the leg extensions are flat on the floor.
  • Cradles at 9.8°: For a gentle rocking motion, adjust the leg extensions to the curved position. This mimics a natural cradling feel.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your EvoNook Mini Crib.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the crib surfaces with a dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Loose hardware can compromise the crib's stability and safety.
