Setup Guide

1. Powering the Main Unit

The main weather station unit can be powered by either the included power adapter or batteries. For continuous display brightness, using the power adapter is recommended.

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC port on the back of the main unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
  2. Alternatively, insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the unit, observing polarity.

2. Installing the Remote Sensor

The remote sensor requires 2 x AA batteries (not included). Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly.

  1. Open the battery compartment on the remote sensor.
  2. Insert 2 x AA batteries, matching the polarity indicators.
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.
  4. Place the remote sensor outdoors in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and precipitation, to ensure accurate readings.

3. Pairing the Sensor with the Main Unit

The main unit and remote sensor should automatically pair within a few minutes of being powered on. If pairing does not occur:

  1. Ensure both units are within the 60m (200ft) wireless range.
  2. Press the "CHANNEL" button on the main unit to select the desired channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3).
  3. Press the "TX" button inside the remote sensor's battery compartment to force a signal transmission.
  4. The outdoor temperature and humidity should appear on the main unit's display.

Operating Instructions

Display Overview

The large color display screen provides comprehensive information at a glance.

Setting Time and Date

The weather station features an Atomic Clock with WWVB functionality, automatically synchronizing the time. Manual adjustment is also possible.

  1. Press and hold the "SET" button to enter time setting mode.
  2. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust values.
  3. Press "SET" to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., 12/24 hour format, hour, minute, year, month, day, time zone, DST).
  4. The unit will automatically exit setting mode if no button is pressed for 20 seconds.

Alarm Clock Function

The weather station includes a dual alarm clock function.

  1. Press the "ALARM" button to view alarm times.
  2. Press and hold "ALARM" to enter alarm setting mode.
  3. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to adjust alarm hour and minute.
  4. Press "ALARM" to confirm.
  5. To activate/deactivate an alarm, press "ALARM" repeatedly until the alarm icon appears/disappears.
  6. When an alarm sounds, press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button to activate snooze (5 minutes). Press any other button to stop the alarm.

Backlight Adjustment

The display backlight has three adjustable levels: 100%, 50%, and Off.

Press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button to cycle through the brightness levels.

Weather Forecast Interpretation

The weather station predicts weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours based on barometric pressure changes.

Note: The forecast is an estimation and may not always be 100% accurate due to localized weather variations.

Maintenance

  • Replace main unit batteries.
  • Check power adapter connection.
  • Press "SNOOZE/LIGHT" to adjust backlight.
Time is incorrect.
  • WWVB signal not received.
  • Incorrect time zone or DST setting.
  • Ensure unit is in an area with good signal reception (away from electronics).
  • Manually set time zone and DST (see Operating Instructions).
