Setup and First Use

1. Install Batteries

Open the battery compartment on the back of the monitor and insert the four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

2. Cuff Placement

Proper cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings. Ensure the cuff is wrapped snugly around your upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow joint, with the air tube running down the center of your arm. The cuff wrap indicator on the monitor will help confirm correct placement.

3. Download and Connect to iHealth MyVitals App

For full functionality, including data tracking and sharing, download the free iHealth MyVitals app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Ensure your app is updated to version 4.10.0 or above for compatibility with model KD-5811BT.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  2. Open the iHealth MyVitals app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  3. Turn off the blood pressure monitor, then press the "M1" or "M2" button to activate Bluetooth for pairing.
  4. Select the desired device (KD-5811BT) from the list in the app.
  5. Select the user group (M1 or M2) you wish to bind and upload data to through the app.
  6. Once connected, you can use the app to manage your readings.

Operating Instructions

Taking a Measurement

  1. Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor, uncrossed.
  2. Extend your arm with your palm up on a flat surface, ensuring the cuff is at heart level.
  3. Press the "START/STOP" button to begin the measurement.
  4. The device will display the latest result for 3 seconds.
  5. Within 3 seconds, press "M1" or "M2" to select your user group. If no selection is made, it saves to the last used group.
  6. After 3 seconds, the cuff will automatically inflate for measurement.

  • "01": Shows the most recent reading. Press "M1" repeatedly to browse all readings.
