3. Position Training Post: If your model has a separate training post, insert it firmly into the designated slot on the grid floor. The post is designed to encourage male dogs to lift their leg, mimicking outdoor urination habits.
4. Select Location: Choose a quiet, accessible location for the potty tray that is away from your pet's eating and sleeping areas. Consistency in location is key for successful training.

4. Operating and Training Your Pet

Effective use of the potty tray involves consistent training and positive reinforcement.

4.1 Initial Training Steps

• Introduce Your Pet: Allow your pet to sniff and explore the potty tray.
• Scheduled Visits: Take your pet to the potty tray frequently, especially after waking up, after meals, and before bedtime.
• Use Cues: Use a consistent verbal cue like "go potty" when you place your pet on the tray.
• Positive Reinforcement: When your pet successfully uses the tray, immediately offer praise, treats, or gentle petting. This reinforces the desired behavior.

1. Remove Grid: Lift the removable grid floor from the base of the tray.
2. Dispose of Waste: Empty any liquid waste from the base into a toilet or designated disposal area.
3. Rinse Components: Rinse both the grid floor and the base thoroughly with water. For deeper cleaning, use a mild pet-safe detergent and a brush.
4. Disinfect (Optional): Periodically, you may use a pet-safe disinfectant to ensure complete sanitation.
5. Dry and Reassemble: Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling the tray.

Note: The high guardrails on three sides help contain urine, making the cleaning process more hygienic and preventing splatter outside the tray.

• Pet avoids the tray:
