Graphic illustrating the three operating modes: Natural Wind, 750W Warm Wind, and 1500W High Heat Wind

Figure 5.1: Overview of the heater's three distinct operating modes.

Control Panel:

The heater is equipped with two rotary switches on the top panel:

  • Mode Selector Switch: This switch allows you to choose between different operating modes.
  • Thermostat Control Dial: This dial allows you to adjust the desired temperature setting.

Operating Modes:

  1. Fan Only (Natural Wind): Rotate the Mode Selector Switch to the fan icon. In this mode, the heater circulates air without generating heat, providing a cool and comfortable breeze.
  2. 750W Heating (Warm Wind): Rotate the Mode Selector Switch to the 'I' or '750W' setting. The heater will operate at a lower heat output, suitable for moderate warmth.
  3. 1500W Heating (High Heat Wind): Rotate the Mode Selector Switch to the 'II' or '1500W' setting. The heater will operate at its maximum heat output for rapid and intense warming.

Temperature Adjustment:

Once a heating mode (750W or 1500W) is selected, use the Thermostat Control Dial to set your desired room temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature. Turn the dial clockwise for higher temperatures and counter-clockwise for lower temperatures.

Power Off:

To turn off the heater, rotate the Mode Selector Switch to the 'OFF' position. For complete disconnection, unplug the heater from the electrical outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your heater. Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Dust Removal: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust from the air intake and exhaust grilles. Do not insert any objects into the grilles.
  • Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it thoroughly and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
  • Cord Care: Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the heater. Avoid kinking or stressing the cord.
