Important Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death to your child.
- Always secure your child in the booster seat using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt system.
- Ensure the vehicle's shoulder belt is properly positioned across the center of your child's shoulder and chest, not on the neck or off the shoulder.
- The lap belt must be low on the hips, touching the child's thighs.
- Never use this booster seat with only a lap belt.
- Do not use this booster seat if your child is under 4 years of age, weighs less than 40 lb, or is shorter than 44 inches.
- Do not use this booster seat if your child weighs more than 120 lb or is taller than 57 inches.
- Never leave your child unattended in the booster seat.

Setup and Assembly
High-Back Booster Assembly
- Align the backrest with the base. There are slots on the backrest that fit into corresponding pegs on the base.
- Push the backrest firmly down onto the base until it clicks securely into place. Ensure there is no gap between the backrest and the base.
- Verify the connection by gently pulling up on the backrest. It should not separate from the base.

Backless Booster Conversion
To convert the high-back booster to a backless booster:
- Locate the release mechanism at the back or bottom of the backrest where it connects to the base.
- Follow the specific instructions in your product manual to disengage the backrest from the base. This typically involves squeezing tabs or lifting a lever.
- Once the backrest is removed, the base can be used as a backless booster. Ensure the shoulder belt positioning clip is accessible and used correctly with the backless booster.
Operating Instructions
Installing the Booster Seat in Your Vehicle
The Evenflo GoTime Sport Booster Car Seat is installed using your vehicle's lap and shoulder belt system. It does not use LATCH connectors.
- Place the booster seat firmly on the vehicle seat. Ensure it is positioned flat against the vehicle seat back.
- Have your child sit in the booster seat.
- Pull the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt around your child and the booster seat.
- Route the lap belt under the armrests of the booster seat and across your child's upper thighs, low on the hips.
- Route the shoulder belt through the shoulder belt guide on the booster seat's headrest (for high-back mode) or use the included shoulder belt positioning clip (for backless mode). The shoulder belt should lie flat across the center of your child's shoulder and chest.
- Buckle the vehicle's seat belt and pull the shoulder belt snug to remove any slack.

Adjusting Headrest Height
The headrest can be adjusted to 7 different positions to accommodate your child's growth.
- Locate the height adjustment handle at the top of the headrest.
- Squeeze the handle and simultaneously pull up or push down the headrest to the desired position.
- Release the handle to lock the headrest in place. Ensure it is securely locked before use.

Using the Integrated Cup Holders
The booster seat features two integrated cup holders for convenience.

Maintenance
Cleaning Instructions
- Fabric Pad: The seat pad is removable and machine-washable. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry. Do not use bleach.
- Plastic and Metal Parts: Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Buckle: Clean the buckle by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not lubricate the buckle.
Storage
When not in use, store the booster seat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not place heavy objects on top of the booster seat during storage.
