4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. It is recommended that two adults assemble the daybed. Clear a spacious area for assembly and keep all tools and hardware within reach.

4.1 Unpacking and Part Identification

1. Carefully unpack all components from the packaging.
2. Lay out all parts and hardware. Compare them with the parts list provided in the separate assembly guide (not included in this manual) to ensure everything is present.

4.2 Frame Assembly

1. Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten until the frame is fully assembled.
2. Insert the bed slats into the designated slots or attach them to the side rails. Ensure even spacing for proper mattress support.

4.3 Storage Headboard and Drawer Assembly

1. Assemble the storage shelf unit according to the separate assembly guide.
2. Attach the cork board panels to the designated area on the headboard.
3. Install the USB charging station into its designated slot within the storage shelf unit. Connect the power cable as instructed.
4. Assemble the three drawers and install the drawer slides. Insert the assembled drawers into the under-bed compartments.

4.4 Final Tightening

Once all components are in place, carefully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten to avoid stripping threads or damaging wood. Ensure the daybed is stable and level.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Storage Shelves

The daybed features two built-in storage shelves on the side of the headboard. These shelves are equipped with sliding doors to protect your items from dust and provide a neat appearance. Simply slide the doors horizontally to open or close the compartments.

5.2 Utilizing the USB Charging Station

A convenient USB port and power socket are integrated into one of the storage shelves. To use, plug the daybed's power cord into a wall outlet. You can then connect your phone or other devices to the USB port or use the socket for other small electronics.

5.3 Using the Cork Board

The integrated cork board allows you to personalize your space. Use pushpins to display notes, reminders, photos, or artwork. Ensure pins are fully inserted to prevent them from falling out.

5.4 Utilizing the Under-Bed Drawers

The three spacious drawers located under the bed provide additional storage for clothing, linens, or other personal items. Pull the handles to open and push to close. Ensure drawers are fully closed when not in use to prevent tripping hazards.

• Cleaning: Wipe the wooden surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
• Cork Board Care: To clean the cork board, gently wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.

• Drawer Maintenance: If drawers become stiff, clean the drawer slides and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if necessary.

• Drawers do not slide smoothly: Ensure the drawer slides are properly aligned and free of obstructions. Check for any loose screws on the drawer or frame slides.
