Apply light, consistent pressure and slide the stone along the blade's edge, moving from the heel to the tip. Maintain a smooth, even stroke.

Activate the semi-automatic turning mechanism to flip the blade to the other side. This mechanism ensures the angle is maintained.
Repeat the sharpening process on the second side until a burr forms on the first side.
Progress to finer grit stones (F400, F600, F1000) in sequence. With each finer grit, reduce pressure and the number of strokes. The F400 is for main sharpening, F600 for pre-finishing, and F1000 for final finishing.
After using the finest grit, remove the burr by making a few very light alternating strokes on each side, or by stropping.
