2.1 General Safety Rules

2.2 Fuel Handling Safety

• Mix fuel and oil in a well-ventilated area, away from sparks or open flames.

4. Assembly

Before operating your chainsaw, some assembly is required. Ensure the engine is off and the chain brake is engaged during assembly.

4.1 Component Identification

4.2 Guide Bar and Chain Installation

1. Ensure the engine is off and the chain brake is disengaged (pulled back towards the handle).
2. Remove the chain cover by loosening the two nuts with the socket wrench.
3. Carefully place the saw chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the direction of rotation (away from the engine on the top side of the bar).
4. Position the guide bar onto the studs, aligning the chain tensioner pin with the hole in the guide bar.
5. Replace the chain cover, but do not fully tighten the nuts yet.
6. Adjust chain tension using the screwdriver. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand. There should be no slack on the underside of the bar.
7. Once tension is correct, tighten the two nuts securely with the socket wrench.
8. Check chain tension again after tightening.

5. Operation

Always wear appropriate PPE before starting the chainsaw. Ensure the chain brake is engaged before starting the engine.

5.1 Fueling the Chainsaw

• Mix unleaded gasoline with 2-stroke engine oil at the ratio specified in the specifications section (typically 25:1 or 50:1, refer to engine label).
• Fill the fuel tank (labeled "FUEL" or with a gas pump icon) with the mixed fuel. Do not overfill.
• Fill the oil tank (labeled "OIL" or with an oil can icon) with quality chain lubricant. This is for the automatic oiler system.
• Securely close both caps.

5.2 Starting the Engine

1. Place the chainsaw on a firm, flat surface.
2. Engage the chain brake by pushing the handle guard forward.
3. Push the engine switch to the "ON" position.
4. Pull out the choke knob fully for a cold start. For a warm start, the choke may not be necessary.
5. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
6. Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand on the front handle and place your foot on the rear handle for stability.
7. Pull the starter handle with a short, sharp motion until the engine fires (usually a few pulls).
8. Once the engine fires, push the choke knob halfway in (or fully in if the engine runs smoothly).
9. Pull the starter handle again until the engine starts and runs.
10. Allow the engine to warm up for a few seconds, then disengage the chain brake by pulling the handle guard back.
11. Briefly blip the throttle to disengage the choke completely.

• Always maintain a firm grip with both hands.
• Stand with your feet apart for balance.
• Plan your cuts to avoid kickback and ensure the tree/log falls in a safe direction.
• Start cutting with the bottom of the guide bar, using the bumper spike as a pivot point.
• Do not force the chainsaw; let the chain do the work.
• Be aware of pinching. Use wedges if necessary.
• For felling trees, follow proper notching and felling techniques.

5.4 Automatic Oiler

The chainsaw is equipped with an automatic oiler system that lubricates the chain and guide bar during operation. Regularly check the oil level in the oil tank and refill as needed. Never operate the chainsaw without chain lubricant, as this will cause rapid wear to the chain and guide bar.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your chainsaw. Always turn off the engine and engage the chain brake before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Chain Sharpening
