The Philips Solar Security Light is designed for easy, wire-free installation. Follow these steps for optimal performance:

  1. Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily to ensure the solar panel charges effectively. The recommended installation height is approximately 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) for optimal motion detection and light coverage.
  2. Mount the Bracket: Use the provided screws and wall anchors to securely attach the mounting bracket to your chosen surface (e.g., wall, fence).
  3. Attach the Light: Slide the solar security light onto the mounted bracket until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Adjust Light Heads and Solar Panel: The three LED light heads can be rotated up to 130° horizontally and vertically. Adjust them to cover your desired area. Ensure the solar panel is angled to maximize sun exposure.
