4. Safety Information
Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the battery:
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Do not expose the battery to fire or extreme heat.
- Do not immerse the battery in water.
- Use only compatible lithium-ion chargers.
- Ensure proper ventilation during charging and discharging.

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Activation
Upon first receipt or after the battery has been switched off for an extended period, it may require activation. Charge the battery using a lithium-activation charger or an MPPT charger to activate the Bluetooth functionality and ensure full operation.
5.2 Installation
The Litime 12V 140Ah battery is designed in a Group 31 size, making it compatible with most RVs, trailers, motorhomes, vans, and campers without requiring extensive modifications for installation. Ensure the battery is securely mounted in a well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Bluetooth App Monitoring
Download the Litime app from your smartphone's app store. Scan the Bluetooth QR code located on the battery to connect. The app allows you to monitor real-time battery parameters:
- State of Charge (SOC)
- Voltage
- Current
- Temperature
- Control discharge or shutdown (if applicable)

7. Charging
7.1 Recommended Chargers
For optimal performance and battery longevity, use a dedicated lithium-activation charger or an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charger. The battery's BMS will manage the charging process efficiently.
7.2 Low Temperature Protection
The battery features an intelligent low-temperature cut-off protection. Charging will automatically pause if the battery temperature drops below 0°C (32°F) and will resume when the temperature rises to 5°C (41°F). Discharging will stop below -20°C (-4°F).

8. Maintenance
Litime LiFePO4 batteries are designed to be maintenance-free. Regular inspection of terminals for corrosion and ensuring secure connections is recommended. Keep the battery clean and dry.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Battery Not Activating / Bluetooth Not Connecting
If the battery does not activate or Bluetooth fails to connect, ensure the battery has received an initial charge from a compatible lithium-activation or MPPT charger. The BMS may be in a low-power state and requires a charge to wake up.
9.2 Low Temperature Charging Issues
If charging stops in cold conditions, this is normal behavior due to the low-temperature protection feature. Charging will resume automatically once the battery temperature rises above 5°C (41°F).
9.3 Overload Protection
The BMS will automatically recover from a 30-second overload event. If an overload persists, reduce the load on the battery.
