Setup & Installation

The Electactic Window Air Conditioner features a U-shaped design for easy installation and an unobstructed view. Follow these steps for proper setup:

  1. Measure Window: Measure your window opening to ensure it is between 24 and 48 inches wide and has a minimum opening of 16 inches high. The maximum sill depth is 11 inches.
  2. Attach Black Foam Rods: Apply the black foam rods to the bottom window sill to create a seal.
  3. Place AC Over Window: Carefully lift and place the U-shaped air conditioner unit over the window sill. The design allows the window to close between the two sections of the AC unit.
  4. Secure the AC: Use the provided knobs on both sides of the unit to secure it firmly in place within the window frame.
  5. Measure and Cut Foam: Measure the space between the AC unit and the window frame. Cut the provided foam pieces to fit snugly, ensuring a tight seal.
  6. Attach Top Foam Sealer: Apply the top foam sealer along the entire length of the window sash that closes against the AC unit to prevent air leakage.
  7. Secure Window (Optional): For added security, use the provided metal bracket and screws to secure the window sash in place.
  8. Plug In: Plug the unit into a standard 115V grounded electrical outlet.
