Setup

Initial Setup

  1. Charge the Display Unit: Connect the display unit to a power outlet using its dedicated power adapter. Allow it to fully charge before first use.
  2. Power the Camera Unit: Connect the camera unit to a power outlet using its power adapter. The camera will automatically power on.
  3. Automatic Pairing: The camera and display unit are pre-paired at the factory. Once both are powered on, they should automatically connect. If they do not connect, refer to the troubleshooting section for manual pairing instructions.
  4. Camera Placement: Place the camera in a secure location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure it is out of reach of children and away from cords.
  5. Mobile App Setup (Optional): Download the free ARENTI app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera for remote viewing.

Operating Instructions

Display Unit Functions

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the display unit.
  • Volume Control: Use the dedicated volume buttons to adjust the audio level.
  • Brightness Adjustment: Navigate through the menu to adjust screen brightness.
  • Zoom: Utilize the 4x digital zoom feature to get a closer look at your baby.
  • Two-Way Audio: Press and hold the microphone button on the display unit to speak to your baby through the camera's speaker.

Camera Features

  • Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ): Remotely control the camera's horizontal (355°) and vertical (60°) movement from the display unit or mobile app to cover every angle of the room.
  • Super Night Vision: The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing clear images up to 10m/33ft.
  • Lullabies: Select from a variety of pre-programmed lullabies to soothe your baby to sleep.
  • Cry & Motion Detection: Receive alerts on your display unit or smartphone when the camera detects crying or movement.
  • Temperature & Humidity Sensor: Monitor the nursery's environment in real-time directly from the display unit.
  • VOX Mode: Voice Operated Exchange mode allows the display unit screen to turn off to save power and only activate when sound is detected from the baby's room.

Advanced Features

Cloud and SD Card Storage

The ARENTI Baby Monitor supports both cloud storage and local SD card storage for recording precious moments. After activating the service, you can play back recorded videos at any time and export them in MP4 format. This allows you to review past events and save important memories.

Data Security and Privacy

ARENTI employs bank-level encryption technology to ensure the security of your data. End-to-end encryption is used to protect data locally before it is uploaded to the cloud. You can also monitor browsing records of external network access to the camera from the display unit and control external network connections, ensuring unauthorized access is prevented.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and display screen. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: If not in use for an extended period, store the monitor in a cool, dry place.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid keeping the display unit on the charger 24/7. Allow it to discharge periodically.
